One being that I don't have to readjust the time schedule of Do Not Disturb and the second being that it will not turn of until you're a certain distance away from that location (which can be adjusted in Settings). Overall, as a former Android user, I cannot tell you how much I love my iPhone 13! It has way more features than my old phone and it's also blazing fast! I would definitely recommend this phone!... I generally like the phone. My prior phone, iPhone 7Plus, had significantly less storage. I do prefer the Fingerprint and Home Button as compared to Face ID. I seem to be having to enter my passcode almost consistently instead of Face ID recognizing me. I wish it had come with instructions. I am having to figure out how some of the features work. I still haven't figured out how to get the page that has locking, volume, brightness, flashlight, focus, square with airplane mode, wi-fi, bluetooth, and internet, and other features to consistently pop up. Also, I have become frustrated when trying to edit a text. So far, it's the worst iPhone I've ever had (and I've had iPhones for about 10 years)
11 April 2022
Positives: It looks amazing (absolutely love the green color), feels solid, can't beat the screen size and clarity, and the camera is impressive.Cons: It has horrible reception, I can't stream music without it pausing every 15-30 seconds (for about a minute or two of silence while it figures out whatever it is trying to figure out), and I have yet to successfully use it as a hotspot for my computer. It seems to pair, shows that I have a solid 5G signal, but my computer will not even load google. Then there's the fact that Siri only works half the time...if that. And don't get me started how it pairs with my AirPods - let's just say it's not good. It randomly decides to drop those out every so often as well. Frustrating. Honestly, my SE 2020 was far superior ... MorePositives: It looks amazing (absolutely love the green color), feels solid, can't beat the screen size and clarity, and the camera is impressive.Cons: It has horrible reception, I can't stream music without it pausing every 15-30 seconds (for about a minute or two of silence while it figures out whatever it is trying to figure out), and I have yet to successfully use it as a hotspot for my computer. Bought a Mini iPhone 13 initially which had to go back as it did not work properly. Torch came on and would not go off. Refunded and as there were no iPhone Minis in stock in the colour I wanted switched to iPhone 13. It has lots more memory so is better at meeting my storage needs. Having some issues with pairing with other devices which is taking time as I am switching between carrier and manufacturer as to what the problem is and both are directing me to the other so problem still not sorted. Had to completely re-register with some of my contacts as their website would not recognise the new phone. Definitely prefer the touch access on earlier iPhones.Phone looks good and I like the colour I chose. Camera is good and QR code recognition actually works on this phone. Took me a while to get used to the fact that turning off the phone is different and I wasn't always sure it was turned off as the slide function on the earlier phone has been replaced with a one step button press at the side. Preferred the slide function as it gave me more confidence that it was actually turned off. I am still learning.Phone feels solid and of good quality.... Show more

There have also been times where drops of perspiration, hitting the screen will change a display… depending upon where the drop of sweat hits the screen. There is a glitch, when taking photos, where the photo pixilates. Most often it will normalize when retaking the photo but every once in a while, it will continue to pixelate 2-3 times… differently, with each subsequent photo.I was led to believe that I would be able to take “macro” photos. Apparently, the individual making this claim knows absolutely nothing about photography. Yes, it… on occasion… will take a decent “closeup” (not the same as “macro”) but even that can be difficult and very time consuming because the phone camera cannot decide where the focus should be. My subject of the photo, “bounces” wildly around the screen and I must ready myself to make an extremely quick shot if it “bounces” into a more desired area, compositionally speaking. It’s extremely difficult, also, to get the focus on a smaller object in the foreground, if there is anything large enough, in the background, for the camera to focus on. An example would be, attempting to photograph, say, a flower in the foreground and leaves are behind it… the focus will switch quickly from the flower to the leaves in the background. There seriously needs to be a way to set the camera to focus on the main subject and leave the background blurry. The “portrait mode” is “supposed” to this but it fails miserably the vast majority of the time and you cannot get very close to the subject in “portrait” settings.... Show more
