First off, I'd like to let the community know that you should expect renewed phones to come with a lot of scratches and less than 90% battery life. Most iPhone mini users did not use cases, so the reality is that this model isn't going to look great. That being said I was very disappointed with my purchase because not all of the components of the phone were working out of the box. I unboxed and setup my iPhone 13 mini, transferred all my data, only to realize that the bottom speaker makes no sound at all. It's clear to me from this purchase that Walmart does not properly test their refurbished phones. A simple test of the speakers would have immediately flagged this phone as defective and would have saved me tons of time. I figured the in-store option for returns would be faster, but it's not. I returned the phone to the store a week ago and I haven't received an email indicating that the store has sent the phone back.

Great size and, with the brighter screen, I have not noticed that it's smaller than my iPhone X. Battery is not amazing though, but that's due to it being a very neat little package that slips nicely in my front pocket rather than the back one, from which my old phone had slipped a couple of times. The glass back on the recent iPhone range is very prone to cracking and is basically a "live with it" problem, which is pretty rubbish really. Can't understand the thinking of having something so fragile that cannot be replaced. It's probably not water resistant anymore and that's a pain and it's lost that sleekness that is what you pay for in an iPhone. 10 months in and the battery is now at 85%, which is dreadful and causing a lot of problems when travelling. That's another £19 if you want to plug into the wall and not your Mac. And if your Mac is oldish (my MacBook Pro is 2015) you've got to buy as adaptor for the USB too - same price again. So add £40 to the overall cost.

I ordered a phone off Amazon, waited four months and got impatient so I cancelled. The only seller with iPhone 13 Miniâs was Walmart, so Iâm glad I gave them a try. My first order (not this seller) refunded my purchase because apparently they ran out of stock even though it said it was on the way. I then ordered from this seller. The phone came in a few days! Other than some confusion with the physical SIM on my old phone, I was able to transfer over the service with my same Verizon plan just fine. Just some minor scratches around the edges. Battery health was 92% which is great for a used phone. Very very happy with my purchse from this seller and this phone in general. 10/10 will order again from Walmart and save hundreds because buying a new phone these days ... MoreI ordered a phone off Amazon, waited four months and got impatient so I cancelled. I had to review it 5 stars after seeing the mixed reviews. I think we got a good one, because the phone looks nearly flawless and the wife has been very happy so far. No major scratches, some light ones on the screen, but have no impact once the phone is in use. Battery life came at 87%, which isn't terrible and a big upgrade from the iPhone 8 that she had. Also, I was scouring the deals sites - Amazon, Woot, Swappa, etc. - for a similar unlocked iPhone 13 mini 256gb, and this was the best price by far. It beat Amazon by nearly $40 bucks and it came next day! (Amazon was scheduled to come in 2 weeks). I'm also shocked that we have 3 months to return it, if it does start to have issues. I'm pretty stunned how great this purchase was. I will buy from Walmart again!
Switched to Apple phones about 7 years back. At that time, they were the only ones selling smaller phones (at least with my mobile carrier). Things were always glitchy when I tried to transfer files to my PC, but I knew that beforehand. Then last year after an update, the phone stopped working correctly with the GPS in my car -- and not just my car, but several rented cars as well. Pretty much any time it was wire connected to a car's screen, the GPS would get wonky and start straying and showing you several hundred meters from where you actually are. Apple techs had me download diagnostics, video the stuff happening while I was driving, everything -- and they still haven't fixed it several months later, or offered any alternatives. Going back to Android. Lots of good options there now, and stuff like cables and accessories aren't ridiculously overpriced like with Apple.
I had a 2016 iPhone and unfortunately it started to give me some problems, battery wise and storage. I knew it was time to upgrade but, I didnât want a phone that had so many things to relearn and that I really didnât need. I just wanted a good phone to get my phone calls, text, take pictures, and have more storage than my old one had. I also wanted one that wasnât going to be bigger than my old one, this one fit my needs. The guy at Verizon helped answer my questions and showed me the different options, which helped me to make my decision. He also made sure everything was transferred over to my new phone, which I was thankful for that. Iâm still getting use to the facial ID thing, but over all Iâm happy with my new phone so far. If youâre looking for something thatâs easy to use, Iâd say check this phone out. Itâs just a little bit bigger, but still as thin as my old phone. I had to go on line to find out why my phone would ring loud but once I picked it up it was quiet. I found out it was because of the Face ID thing, but you can fix that. Now even when I pick it up to see whoâs calling it will still ring loud and not go silent. No instructions to help though. Also it does take a little longer to charge and the cords I had for my old phone wonât work, so I had to buy new cords, but the new cords also work for my IPad. All in all itâs doing what I need and want it to do for me.
Phone arrived in âdecentâ condition. There were several pretty decent sized dings around the outside rim of the phone (especially the corners) and around both cameras lenses. The screen was super dirty and there was âgunkâ caked around the switch that turns the ringer on and off (listing says it was âthoroughly cleanedâ, but it wasnât). Worst part, though, is the charging port either didnât work or it was also caked with âgunkâ, not allowing the phone to charge unless you physically held the charger tightly into the phone. If you let go it would stop charging after a min or 2 and youâd have to firmly press it in again. Most of my Walmart purchasing experiences have been great; unfortunately, not this one!
I am loving this phone! I wanted it in pink, but when I placed the order the digital agent/representative gave me three color options that were not on backorder, and I wanted to be able to have my phone at the same time as the rest of my family. I also had a tablet that was on backorder, but it came the same day as everything else. So, now I can't help but wonder if I should have just said I would wait and it probably would have come on the same day as well.Onto the actual review... I have not had an iPhone since I was in high school. That has been about 15 years maybe. I got tired of the restrictions that Apple has over the user/consumer. But I decided to give Apple another shot again and I am liking the phone so far. It's been about a little more than a week and I haven't gotten tired of it yet.I love the size! I feel like phones just keep getting bigger and bigger. I have little hands, I don't need a huge phone that is just going to give me hand cramps and trigger arthritis, haha. Its about the size of the one I had in high school and its just great. Its the perfect size, although I didn't get pink because the digital rep made it seem like I would wait a couple weeks to a month for just a color, the blue is a very nice shade of blue. I wish it were a little shade, but at least it isnt so dark and close to black as the new iPhone 14 dark purple color. There is only the standard colors and that dark purple for the new line of iPhones and it did not appeal to me at all.Performance wise, I think this phone is just about as good as any other phone at this point. It's fast and it does heat up if you're using it on the charger, so I advise not to do so, haha. The battery life could be better, my Samsung Galaxy ZFlip 4 has a much more significant battery life. Sometimes, Safari just freezes and stops loading, then I need to exit the app and go back in, even have to close the tab and reenter the URL for it to load a page, but that is most likely just the app.Battery life usually is not a problem for me, but I don't like having to charge my phone during work, as I work a graveyard shift at a senior living home, and I need some type of entertainment on down times. I have never had the need to charge my Galaxy ZFlip 3 or Galaxy ZFlip 4 while at work.Other than the battery life, the phone is good. I don't really have anything bad to say about it right now.
I got mine here on the website when I lit up service for zero device payment!I had been doing research on this vs the SE 3rd gen. Prior to the 13 Mini, I had the 13.Being sort of a minimalist, I gravitated toward smaller form electronics. The SE was just meh. OK for a kiddo for a first iPhone..for an experienced user notsomuch. I needed MORE POWER! The 13 Mini delivers! Super fast and fluid and a joy and a half to behold in deep fire engine red! The red color glass back is super saturated and is set off brilliantly by the red anodized aluminum frame. Just an exquisite build on this device! One handed POWER! The 5.4" OLED display is very nice. Nice super black blacks. Fast and fluid as any iPhone I have had my hands on as of 10/26/23..including my wife's 14 Pro ... MoreI got mine here on the website when I lit up service for zero device payment!I had been doing research on this vs the SE 3rd gen.
