I had previously owned an iPhone 13 before it was unfortunately stolen. I decided to "upgrade" to the iPhone 15. It is an improvement in many ways (as it should be). But there is honestly very little difference between the two models in terms of day-to-day usage. Both devices can run on the newest operating system (iOS 18), and both offer stellar photo quality and many of the other outstanding features that come with almost any recent iPhone model (e.g., iMessage, Apple Music, Apple Pay, MagSafe charging, pairing with the Apple Watch, etc.). The 15 also has some unfortunate drawbacks. It offers a USB-C port instead of Lightning, which is great only if all of your (and your family's) other devices also use USB-C. Otherwise it's a pain. Also, the iPhone 15 will NOT be able to incorporate the highly-touted AI features that will be available on the 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and the new 16 models. Finally, Apple has gone to exclusive eSIM technology for the cellular services since the iPhone 14. The iPhone 13 is the last model to offer the physical SIM card tray. I appreciate having this option when I travel abroad. After going back to the iPhone 13, I honestly don't miss the 15 at all. That's a testament to how great the 13 still is even three years after its release, and it also shows how incremental the smartphone upgrades are year over year.

I absolutely love my pink iPhone 13! Apple doesn’t really change the design too much between iPhones, however this screen was updated to a 6.1 inch display for better visibility and the standard OLED screen. Apple also updated the storage, so having 128GB is a huge plus! You can also always add more storage on iCloud. This phone has 2 rear cameras and the front facing camera is even used for facial recognition features! The battery life on this iPhone is amazing, my phone always lasts the entire day without needing to recharge. But if necessary, it charges to 50% in about 30 minutes and fully charges in 2 hours. I love Apple’s interface and find it extremely easy to use. I never have any glitches or issues with my phone. They have come out with other iPhones since ... MoreI absolutely love my pink iPhone 13! This phone was "not scanned before it left the warehouse". This is what I was told when I attempted to activate the phone. I've had Straight Talk for years and have bought phones online in the past with no problems, until now. After three frustrating days and numerous phone calls, a representative told me to take it to a Walmart store and have them scan it, then it can be found in the system and activated. I didn't see how that would work as the phone was not FROM the store, if you understand how their inventory works, but it was worth a try. Luckily this phone model was in their system. They processed a refund for the phone, put the money on a gift card, and resold it to me, this process of course included scanning the bar code of the new phone, and, there you go, ... MoreThis phone was "not scanned before it left the warehouse". They processed a refund for the phone, put the money on a gift card, and resold it to me, this process of course included scanning the bar code of the new phone, and, there you go, it was now able to be found by Straight Talk when I called to activate it, so it does now work. This whole process was aggravating, stressful and completely ridiculous. Absolutely inexcusable that a phone, which by the way, claimed to be 'locked to Straight Talk' both on the website AND the material that came with the phone, could not be added to the advertised carrier without jumping through many, many hoops. Crazy! I will never buy another phone online. The phone itself is fine, but the whole customer experience was a -10.
I just bought an Apple iPhone 13, iOS, 6.1", 5G, SIM Free, 128GB and was amazed at how easy it was to transfer all of the data from my last phone. I considered which features were important to my lifestyle, the size of phone I required, and how much I wanted to spend before shopping around to see what the market had to offer. This model comes in a range of colours, green, blue, red, pink, white, and Midnight Blue. I chose Midnight Blue. I needed to receive business emails, often with large attachments, browse the web, lookup directions, take excellent quality photographs and, for pleasure, play around with songwriting on GarageBand. The price is amazing for the features the phone offers. The touchscreen is sensitive and the face recognition works really well. The phone is fast (5G), the battery lasts a long time and the screen is clear. The duel camera system offers many features and editing potential. There is ample storage for music, videos and podcasts and the sound quality is brilliant. Superb value for money.
I ordered the phone and it came between one week! It was overall a good purchase for 465$ ( tax was included already ). The battery capacity was 95% which wasn’t that bad. One thing I was disappointed in is that they gave me the package in a tiny delivery box, and the phone was in a tiny plastic bag. But overall, I was scared that I would get minor scratches or cracks on my screen, or maybe it wouldn’t even work! Moreover it was basically a new phone but they just replaced the battery with a not so good one ( which is ok bc again it’s refurbished ) and they replaced the camera ( which i did NOT like ) I compared my refurbished phone to my freinds new iPhone 13 and his camera was better. They probably must’ve damaged or replace the camera, but I guess it’s ok. It’s a ... MoreI ordered the phone and it came between one week! Just greatful that there wasn’t any scratches on the screen ( and no I am NOT and I repeat NOT a Walmart person that is just making a fake review). It’s not that bad of a purchase, I recommend this one it’s the best that they have.
My first ‘very good condition’ CPO iPhone 13 began the normal activation process which forces the phone to update to the current IOS: IOS18. The ‘very good condition’ CPO iPhone 13 tried to install IOS 18 for 14.5 hours and never would because IOS 17 had not yet been installed. I had to wipe the phone of any set up I had already completed, reset the iPhone to factory settings and restart the activation process skipping most set up processes. I forced the iPhone to update to IOS17, then IOS18. Once complete, I had to wipe the phone back to factory settings and begin the set up process all over again. Once setup was complete, I found out the ‘very good condition’ CPO iPhone 13 had a blown ear speaker making any conversation with the phone held up to your ear ... MoreMy first ‘very good condition’ CPO iPhone 13 began the normal activation process which forces the phone to update to the current IOS: IOS18. Additionally, battery health was 85% original capacity which I would assess as poor condition, not a ‘very good condition’ CPO iPhone 13’.My replacement ‘very good condition’ CPO iPhone 13 wouldn’t install IOS 18 either. I had to force the phone to update to IOS17 and then IOS18, wipe back to factory settings and begin the process all over again. Battery health on my replacement ‘very good condition’ CPO iPhone 13 is 87% which would be poor to fair condition in my opinion.I doubt I'll ever buy another CPO device from Verizon unless they make significant upgrades to their quality control process.
I would rather chew my own arm off than ever buy a refurbished phone from Best Buy again. The phone stopped working after less than 30 days and Best Buy refused to help me with it and instead sent me directly to Apple. Apple was very helpful and tried to do everything they could, but the problem is that when Best Buy refurbished the phone, they did not update the sold date, and the phone no longer appears to fall under the 90-day warranty from Apple. I’ve made several attempts to work with Best Buy to get this date changed since it does not reflect the date. I actually purchased the phone as soon as the date is changed Apple is more than happy to help me fix or replace the phone. I have bought so many electronics from Best Buy and had wonderful experiences in the past, but this most recent experience purchasing a refurbished iPhone from a retailer I thought I could trust, has been horrible and now I have a $600 paperweight and have to buy a new phone. Even the geek squad team at my local store said they recommend don’t ever buy a refurbished phone even from Best Buy. I guess it’s a lesson learned and I’ll be buying my other electronics somewhere else in the future
I received the phone yesterday and put it on the charger right away as there was maybe only 10% left on the battery. It was taking it forever to charge, but I needed a phone as mine had stopped working. I switched everything over and then plugged it back to the charger. Overnight, it barely made it to 90% after being on the charger not being used for 12 hours. On my 1 hour commute to work, the battery went from 90% to 54ish within that hour and that phone had not been used. I tried to plug it up to my charger at work and it showed it was charging, but the battery life continued to drop. I even went and bought a new charger with the hopes it would work. When I turned the phone back on, the screen wouldn't work and there was less charge to the phone than at the time i powered it off. If I had to take a guess, the phone has probably never been refurbished as stated, and was just repackage to quickly sell. I instantly started the refund process and will be taking the phone back to my local Wal-Mart ASAP. Luckily, I was able to find the same phone through Straight Talk, brand new, for not much more than the price for this one. I was able to get free shipping as well and have it to me within 1-2 days.
I’ve been using an iPhone 12 Mini for the past three years. Since I don’t upgrade my phones often, I usually prioritize practicality over the latest features. While I’m not sure why they say that, when I compared it to my wife’s iPhone 14, I genuinely felt the iPhone 13 was superior. If you’re considering switching from Android to iPhone or simply upgrading, the iPhone 13 is an excellent choice. However, don’t wait until your current device reaches its end-of-life (when Apple stops sending updates), as it could expose you to potential cybersecurity risks. Hope you enjoy this product, if you are about to buy it.
