The IPhone 13 is a great phone. I have dropped the phone a few times and it would had seemed that the glass would had shattered however, I was pleased there was not a crack considering how hard the phone slammed against the floor. Im guessing Apple has taken a step further to protect the phone as it upgrades. Another great thing is that I spilled something near my phone and my phone was not affected in the least. I’m not too sure if the IPhone 13 is water proof but my phone was not damaged in the least. God forbid if this had happened to an Android.time to had bought a new phone. I feel apple has really started to move in the backwards direction with this phone, and I’m not too impressed for the significant loan that was required to buy this phone outright, I expect much higher camera quality for a phone that costs $1,000. I purchased this phone, because I was tired of the issues I had with the Xs while trying to work. The GPS kept crashing. It has a very large storage capacity and I never have had to worry about storage, however I’m sure that the RAM will slow down if you have too much going on and a lot on it, I love the pressure touch responsive screen, it took me a bit to get the hang of turning on the flashlight from the home screen though! Think of it like you’re pressing a real button, and it will work! Overall, I do really like this phone, I’m kind of hard on phones sometimes because I do so much, I tend to overload processors and kill the battery over time. So far this phone has held up pretty strong for me. If you get the 13 line though, and want a good camera app, I’d recommend going ahead with the 13 pro max instead for the upgraded camera. If you’re obsessed with photography, this likely won’t satisfy your needs. The GPS works on this one at least!!

Awful just awful. If I could give it negative stars I would. I got it in the mail this afternoon it was for my wife for our anniversary. I got to set it up and open the package and open it and it looked like it had been dragged down the road. Dents all the way around the phone like deep ones and clearly visible. I’m like whatever I can get a case. I turn it on to set it up and I notice the battery is dying at a rapid pace. I check the battery health and it’s below the 80% advertised. So the battery is basically shot. Then I go to get my sim set up and it won’t connect. It took two hours on the phone with my carrier to get it to work. This is what I’ve found right off the bat. Bought this device as "restored like new / fully unlocked for any carrier."Upon receiving the device, this was not the case at all. First of all, the packaging was very poor, the device was not protected or secured in any way in the box. The box nor package were even closed/sealed fully. The device has major scuffs on the outer metal bezel on all four corners which could not be possibly caused by the poor package job but whatever, then when confirming with my Carrier the IMEI number, the device is in fact blacklisted and not able to be used with my carrier. This is a huge disappointment as i have been without a phone and was counting on using this phone. A great upgrade without breaking the bank! What can I say ... it is an iPhone which works like any other iPhone! It has greater storage than my previous phone which is a great asset. It is also running on 5G which I did not realise when I bought it but seems to be ok so far and I have not noticed anyone watching my content!I really changed my phone because the battery on my previous phone was not lasting all day. Unfortunately, the battery on this brand new phone is not lasting all day either. So I have not gained anything on that front.The service from John Lewis was fantastic as usual. Thank you JL.
I had an iphone 8 for quite a few years. The 13 is bigger and heavier, so it doesn't fit as well into pockets. I watched YouTube videos which showed all sorts of features that I'll never want to use, so a lot of its power is wasted on me. It took me several days to begin to feel comfortable with the 13 and it still doesn't work smoothly for me. The facial recognition often doesn't work and the 'swipe' system is very frustrating as a way of moving between functions/apps. The swiping is not smooth and instant; it needs several attempts with increasing degrees of speed or strength. No doubt I need intensive training to improve my technique.
