Excellent Phone

The 14+ is an excellent phone if you want some Ty larger, but don’t need all the bells and if the Pro or Pro Max. I moved up from a mini 12 as my vision was not as sharp as before and this phone has worked out well. It has plenty of memory, an excellent battery which I have yet to get below 40% in a full day of use (5 am to 10 pm). The refresh rate has not been an issue for me and doubt I’d ever know the difference. The camera on the 14 series does a very good job and meets all my needs. Initially, moving from the mini to the plus, I thought I’d have an issue with the size, but I have not. I really enjoy the larger screen and the vivid colors. Overall, very satisfying phone. I have no regrets getting the plus model.

First Iphone and it seems fine.

This is my first iPhone I have ever bought for myself. I have worked on plenty of them and as both Android and iPhone evolve, I am starting to see a lot of likenesses with some differences. Honestly if they both take from each other we could all have the perfect phone. If you are a regular iPhone buyer, don't upgrade from the 13 unless you are worried about getting in an accident. If you are an old iPhone user, this is a great upgrade. The face id is nice but some of the latest Android phones use face id and drop you into your home screen, not the iPhone it unlocks it and you have to swipe up. This does not bug me but if that is important keep it in mind. I like to close my back ground tasks which Android has a close all, but iPhone doesn't. The App store does not really compare the iPhone takes down Android and everyone else. Like Android, iPhone tries to keep you in the garden which is fine, but Apple is flexible enough to allow all your android services to move over to your iPhone which is nice. The hardware is on par with some of the top Android phones in some areas, but Apple is superior in photo and smoothness. The top Android phones do have the smoothness and quality photos but do not have the extra features for picture processing. You won't suffer having either, but the iPhone pricing is on par with the top Android phones and why not go with some superior hardware? Some feel they get better support with Apple; this comes at a cost, but I understand it. Apple like Google makes sure that you will likely run out of space and will offer to only charge you a nominal amount each month to increase your storage. I call this a toss up, because both companies do this practice. As far as moving from Apple to Apple or even Android to Apple, it was very simple as long as you know your passwords going into the process. I hope this helps some of you decide, the larger screen of the plus is wonderful for my older eyes, but my son prefers is regular iPhone.

I love My MacBook Air and iPad so I figured I would like the phone. NO, I hate it. This phone takes terrible pictures. I have had it for about 3-4 months and I am going to flip it for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. My old galaxy S5 takes better photos. I really wanted to like this phone. I mostly use my phone for photos social media and phone basics. I will say the battery life is pretty good, no dropped calls, good sync with the blue tooth in the vehicle and I appreciate the ability to sync with my other Apple products. Sorry I hate to give Apple a lousy review and maybe I should have gotten the 14pro supposedly it has a better camera so please in the future just find a way to match the cameras on Samsung or The pixel and the Apple phone would be perfect.

I love it so far

I’m coming from the 12 Pro Max to this and I started with the 14 Pro Max but I have small hands and that phone was heavy for me. I just didn’t love it enough to upgrade. I wanted something lighter in weight but the same display size. This is lighter and much more comfortable for me to hold. Lighter than my 12 pro max also and the only reason I had that one is I wanted a big screen. The speakers on this are incredible. It’s fast. The camera takes great pictures. I love the purple color. I don’t notice any difference but I probably never used all the features on my other phone. It was always just heavy for me. Call clarity has been great so far. Better than my 12 Pro Max. I’ve only had this for a few days now so I can update more later. I switched from android and there are so many features on the iPhone that I lost. The maps and calendar are something I heavily rely on, on a daily basis. The iphone doesn’t allow you to view your monthly calendar in detail, you can only view the month by scrolling through a list. The maps doesn’t allow you to search along your route and find, let’s say a Walmart by looking at the map and picking one either closest to you or to your destination. I used to be able to see if the store I wanted was out of the way or not or on my route. I lost that ability with the iPhone. I downloaded Google maps and the feature still isnt available. I also have issues with the screen. I will touch buttons and the phone doesn’t respond. Pro's & Con's on new iPhone14

My new iPhone 14 is great. VZ gave me $800 on the trade-in of my iPhone 8 which was an offer I couldn't refuse. 5G where connected, improved camera, longer battery time. They did a good job transferring all of my apps from the old phone, but I'm having to reinstall a few such as home security. I haven't mastered the touch of turning off apps running in the background. Necessary for me to re-LogIn to the phone more than my previous phone, but I'm sure I haven't learned the shortcut. I do not use the facial recognition LogIn. New phone charger does not use a USB connector. Presidio2 Grip case case is great, magnetic, sturdy. The phone and case together are too big to fit in the cup holder of my car where I like to store the phone while driving. Lots of new tricks for ... MoreMy new iPhone 14 is great. Seamless Transition from Old to New
7 December 2022

Let’s face it, an iPhone is an iPhone. Getting use to using the new phone is rather easy. It basically operates the same as my previous iPhone. I think the biggest improvement is the transferring information from the old phone to the new one. It literally transferred all my data, apps, photos, etc. from my old phone to the new one quite seamlessly and completely. The ONLY thing I had to load on my new phone were my Bluetooth devices. I have not tried all the new features of the phone, but I’m sure they will work as described. The only comment I will make about this phone is that it is much heavier than my previous iPhone 12. That will take some getting use to.Overall I’m very pleased with the phone.

iPhone 14 Plus Excellent Upper Mid-Range Value

My wife and I both had Apple 8 Plus phones. We really liked our 8 Pluses as they were solid, reliable, and always worked well - with the exception of the fingerprint reader, which didn’t always perform. I frequently had to enter my passcode. We replaced the 8 Pluses with 14 Pluses and love our 14 Pluses. The Face ID on the 14 Plus is MUCH better than the fingerprint ID on the 8 Plus. The 14 Plus is a solid upgrade. We are completely satisfied with the 14 Plus in every respect. It is fast and easy to use and the display is sharp and crisp. The only complaint that I have is that I use the alarm for morning wake-up and sometimes have to fumble around on the screen to turn off the alarm. In that respect, I miss the home button.
