My last iPhone was the iPhone 6. Been using Samsungs S series for the last few generations S8, S10 then S22. I wanted to move back to iPhone as I use Apple computers and was impressed by my friends iPhone 12 portrait photos. So I sold my base model S22 for the iPhone 15. Screen quality is great. I disabled 120hz on the S22 so am ok with only having 60hz.Battery is better than Samsung. USB-C is great but charging is slower than S22. The Main Camera is brilliant, just as good as the S22, renders images differently, more true to life. However the Ultra Wide camera is rubbish on the iPhone 15. It can't auto focus, has a smaller sensor and slower lens and images are noisier than S22. Also no macro mode. iPhone 15 doesn't have a 3x zoom lens like the S22 however I found ... Another disappointment is that iPhone can't be forced to use Nightmode like the S22 can. S22 nightmode was significantly better. Almost pitch-black room become bright, iPhone couldn't do the same. I don't use nightmode in day to day life so am not too annoyed but am very disappointed about the weak ultra wide camera. Videos are superior on iPhone.iOS is fine however it will take me a while to get use to navigating around. I find the button layout to be annoying on iPhone, I keep pressing the volume up when I want volume down. I also find the mute button only mutes text/ calls and not media volume. Also trying to move files / photos / videos between Mac Mini and iPhone was not as easy as I hoped for. Sure I can use "Photos" App to import photos but to move images and videos back to the iPhone I had to use "AirDrop" - why can't I simply drag and drop from the Finder window??? For $200 more I wonder if I would have done better getting iPhone 14 Pro with its better Ultra wide camera and Real Zoom lens. Oh well, guess I will just have to use my mirrorless camera more often for photos now.

Avoid this!! Had this on my phone for less than a week now, and it looks worse than my old case did after 2 years. Apple tried to be sustainable by removing leather, but this faux suede velvet and plastic case isn't worth buying. It picks up stains, retains marks and the USB C cut-out isn't aligned for non-Apple cables. Don't waste your money!

Love the feel of it. Seems to be holding up well with no obvious scratches. The metal buttons feel really great and the cutout fits my phone perfectly. This seems to be getting a lot of bad reviews but I've been really impressed so far.

Great phone, no issues yet at all. It’s fast and does exactly what it should. However I ordered the green one, got the white one. But I kept it because I needed a cell asap and didn’t have time to send it back. The color doesn’t change the fact that it’s awesome
I’m giving this a 3 bc they changed the charging port and did not supply a block for it to go in to. It comes with a cord but the cord does not charge using a USB PORT. So basically you’re screwed until you go to the store. VERY DISAPPOINTING given you spend almost a $1000 dollars. Come on Apple…REALLY🙄🙄🙄🙄
For $60 it is not worth it at all. It was cool at first because ive never had a case with this texture before and thoughtbit would be a cool accessory for my phone. However after 3 days of using it i decided to issue a return because it already has these weird dark stains on the edge of the back. I can assume its just fron the friction of my pocket or just how the material absorbs moisture. I also had a very minor drop( maybe like 2 feet) and it left to gashes on the top right and bottom right corner of the case. not worth the $60. Just get apples silicone or clear case.
This 'leather' replacement has an unusual feel to it that can be a bit off-putting and scuffs easily. See photos. However, the big issue is that for me it made the side button nearly unusable. I always hit the side button to 'lock' the phone and found it almost never locked. Also had trouble using Apple Pay at a checkout using it. The only thing easy to do with it was when taking screenshots.
I bought it for my wife as I use a Galaxy S21 ultra, she prefers apple. I am left to set it up and do maintenance. Why o why has Apple made it so difficult to direct share/ transfer photos to and from USB drive. It is rediculous compared to my S21, I am upgrading my phone in coming weeks but not to Apple.
I have bought many different iPhone cases over the years, both Apple and others, but this one for the iPhone 15 is by far the worst. It has a cheap tacky feel that is not comfortable to hold and it is liable to slip out of your hand. Do not buy this as you will be very disappointed. If I could give this less than 1 star I would.
Adding dynamic island onto base model was nice, I wasn’t overly hyped with it but seeing how it’s integrated with the camera punch out is nice, good programming.iPhone fundamentals and I’m happy there’s no action button. There’s something satisfying about the toggle mute switch. It actually does feel different to hold in the hand without a case, the rounded edges make a different.
