Disappointed

The Iphone 15 is a disappointment in performance and durability over my old Galaxy A51. The old A51 is a 4G phone that runs the Android OS. It did nothing special but was durable with no screen protector and a simple Incipio 2 piece case. After having the A51 for a few years I decided to upgrade because my employer uses Apple products to communicate. I was also waiting for Apple to stop using proprietary charging cords which seems wasteful and environmentally unfriendly.I paid extra for shipping which is insulting after a one thousand dollar purchase. The phone arrived and I couldn't connect it to the 5G service or make calls. I had to wait on hold on my old phone as a customer service rep connected new my phone to the Verizon network. My A51 lasted it's entire life in my pocket with the same change and keys without a scratch. It was returned to Verizon in almost new condition. The Iphone has been a disappointment in durability in less than a week of owning it.The OS on the Iphone is different and takes some getting used to but nothing made me say wow this is so much better than the Android OS. I still need all the Microsoft 360 junk to send and receive emails and run reports so nothing stands out as great for the Iphone.Overall just another handheld mind control device that tracks my every move and monitors my speech for unpopular opinions. In a word, Boring.

Incredibly Disappointed with US Cellular

I was informed that this was an unlocked phone, as I purchased it upfront. Much to my surprise when I went abroad, I discovered it was not and I could not the UK sim card I purchased for my vacation. I wasted $1000 on a phone I was unable to use that I had specifically purchased before vacation. The phone itself is fine, standard Apple product, but I am horribly disappointed with US Cellular. I was told the phone was unlocked and I would have no issues while abroad. Instead, I was essentially left stranded. Fortunately I was not traveling alone and was able to make use of the purchased sim card on my mom's phone. My only option was to hope that spending a significant amount of money on upgrading plans would allow me to use international roaming for more exorbitant costs, but without being in the US I was not guaranteed for this to work, so really I had no option. My only disappointment with the phone itself is the camera quality - my understanding was that it would be equivalent to the Pro version basically with the exception of the zooming feature.

NIGHTMARE!

This phone is a JOKE in EVERY way! As is the service from Verizon. This has been one of the biggest nightmares of my life, and with severe health issues, it’s an even bigger nightmare that’s literally causing dangerous stress levels.The phone camera is a joke! You can’t focus in on anything like important paperwork or any writing, on anything at all—it’s just complete blurriness. Overheats and basically sucks

I purchased my iPhone 15 back in March 2024. I use it for work and it is an essential tool for my job. I take hundreds of photos and videos per day and have to edit them on the spot. Using the programs the phone comes with like "iMovie" and "iPhoto" makes the device really convenient. However, I have to regularly set my phone in front of a high powered fan or stick it in the freezer for at least 5 minutes in order to get it to cool down. Once it heats up, it stops working properly and wont transfer any photos or videos to my computer. This eats up SUCH a big chunk of my day and makes me look really inefficient as a result. Sometimes it’s almost too hot to handle

There was an improvement in that the picture I used from my wallpaper was full screen as opposed to just part of the screen. Otherwise, everything pretty much stayed the same although, I can’t really tell because the first iPhone 15 I got was defective so I can’t really judge things because I don’t know if they are working 100%. But I did notice and it may be a defect with the phone I’m still using & haven’t sent back yet because the delivery was delayed twice so far. Anyhow gets incredibly hot whenever music is played. It never did on my previous iPhone. But I don’t know if this is a defect or is something with the new operating system or new hardware, but as we speak, it is cooling off and has probably gone down, about 25° so far. Unhappy customer

I just recently purchased an IPhone 15, updating from an Apple SE. Granted I am used to the SE but this phone is too big for my back pocket, heavy and clunky. It is uncomfortable to hold to your ear and talk because of its size and weight. And, I don't think the camera quality is anywhere as good as the SE. Along with the new phone came a new plan and, thanks to all the good folks at Verizon, my account is so hosed up that I don't know if it will ever be straightened out. It seems like not one person can correct what's going on, everyone prior to that person gave me the incorrect information, my account is now cleared up with credits being applied, my new bill will be exactly as they say and when the bill amount is posted ... that's wrong too.
