Apple iPhone SE (2020) A2296 64GB White [Pristine Grade]

This is a great little phone for us practical folks who don’t often upgrade but still want a phone with most of the nicer features that are on the bigger more expensive phones. I actually have an old Gen 1 SE still being an awesome little phone that still works great and that led me to pick the newer SE up when it came out. I barely early adopt any new tech when it comes out unless I really believe in it and this phone mostly delivers. A huge bonus for me on this one is it still has the home button. It is a phone after all and not a camera so it definitely gets the job done. If you want a better camera though you’ll have to shell out for the more expensive phones however. Or, you know, an actual camera. My biggest gripe with all iPhones I’ve used, with this being no exception, is battery life. It seems great at first and within a year or so you definitely notice it become shorter and shorter. I don’t know if that’s Apples forced obsolescence trying to push you to a new phone every year that you really don’t need. I don’t know if they just use inferior batteries to make money selling you a replacement battery. All I know is that it doesn’t matter what phone it is from Apple, the battery will always be a huge let down. This alone is the reason in fairness I can not give this phone 5 stars.

Great little phone, even years later. I no longer use this as a cell phone, but as a mp3 player. When I used it as a cell phone it was a great little phone. Durable, great battery life, headphone jack, and even a nice little camera. It's really just the all around little phone that could. I still love this phone even after owning a Samsung and Pixel. Is it good in 2023? I mean, it's not up to the standards that we're used to now, but it's a great little phone if you don't mind less storage space and being unable to play most games. I love this phone. I've had the battery professionally replaced after it failed and I will continue to use it as an mp3 player until it dies for good.

Best Value Imaginable

This is my second phone purchase from Gazelle. I was a bit intimidated by the "fair" ranking, but none of the cosmetic defects are all that concerning. I bought a second phone from Gazelle because I had such a good experience with my first one, and I will probably use them again in the future.I love the SE because it is small, and the edges are flat, so it stays in tripods easily and it is easy to hold, and it's easy for me to type on it and not drop it with my arthritis hands that occasionally go completely numb. I will not be replacing my SE until the iPhone 12 mini drops below $200, so I intend to hold onto this phone for a very long time. If you use your phone as a phone, enjoy typing with one hand, and need something that will fit in your pocket, this is the best phone on the market in my opinion, because even though it's older, it keeps up really well with updated, newer apps. I never would have replaced my first one if I hadn't broken the screen. A screen replacement was $120 through Apple, but a "new" refurbished SE was $130 through Gazelle, so I decided to save myself the hassle and just get another phone.

CRAP PHONE

Should’ve known there was a catch by the price. First off, the phone is TINY! It’s smaller than my other SE. Thats actually not really what annoys me, but it doesn’t specify how small it is. Second, it didnt even come in an Apple box. (That should have been the biggest red flag!) Third, it came with some cheap charger and some random headphones. None of which were Apple products. Lastly, and most importantly, it doesn’t hold a charge any longer than an hour at most! After opening it, I looked at the battery health and it was only at 90% so it’s either a refurbished phone or it’s so old the battery is just simply crap. A complete waste of money! DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Great Phone with Value and still can do many functions such as Web, Games, and Apps.

One great thing about Apple products is that they have full control of the hardware design and iOS software running the device. I still use the iPhone SE Gen 1 on a weekly basis. Great device that cost less than $100 to learn iOS programming and install the test apps on instead of your $1000 iPhone. Have many friends and acquaintances that would buy them and take them to the gym to listen to their music while working out or in the steam room. Since most people know that it is not the latest iPhone, very low chance of them being stolen. So many things it can do like add books to read, surf the Internet using Wifi, text, and install apps to play older games.

I love this iPhone! It is so great. The camera is a lot better than my old Samsung Galaxy. The storage is amazing, especially if you pay a dollar a month for more iCloud storage. It is such a good size and fits in my pocket. Some phones are too big for that these days. The only big problem is the the battery life. The battery drains really quickly. I don't constantly use my phone and at most am on it three hours a day, at most!! Most days though I use it for two hours in total and it lasts throughout the day to text and occasionally play a game or two, then I plug it in when I go to bed. Simple mobile is a scam / Iphone is ok

Let me start with telling you that I’m a long time Simple Mobile customer. I ordered this phone as upgrade to my old IPhone. The phone is locked to simple mobile and came with their sim card. After they transferred my phone number to this whole device and sim the phone kept saying that it needs to be activated. After I spoke to Apple they told me that the issue is with the carrier, not the phone. I called and spoke to 10 different people from Simple Mobile and no one is willing to help. What I was left to understand is that I will have to pay for services for 2 months and wait till this phone gets unlocked, before I can use it as a phone or get any messages on it. The SE 2nd Generation iPhone

Needed to replace a 6s iPhone. The charging port was worn and would not charge the battery. The SE 2nd Generation iPhone is designed similar to the 6s. Transferring the data from the 6s to the SE was quick and easy. BUT, activating the new phone was not quick and easy. Could not get the phone to activate after spending an hour on the phone talking to TracPhone. He thought the trouble was at their end. I would need to wait 24 hours and if not activated, contact them. In the morning after 12 hours the phone was still not activated. So I decided to get the phone ready by updating the software. When the software finished updating and the phone restarted, the phone ACTIVATED. I did not foresee that happening. I downgraded from an iPhone 11 to this iPhone SE in an effort to save on my monthly bill. This phone was refurbished in “good” condition when it arrived and physically was fine. Having used more recent iterations of the iPhone I can tell you that this phone is utter garbage. It lags when multitasking, the battery life is approximately 4-5 hours at 85% health capacity, it takes many hours to fully charge, and the camera quality is lacking. The phone is small and will fall out of pockets and slip out of hands if a case is not used. There’s much more negative feedback I can give but the phone was cheap so I won’t say much more. I would recommend only using this phone as a backup device if you do not have insurance.
