Savvy buyers often buy mint used gear and turn it over every couple years or so. Candidly, this way, the out of pocket cost for staying relatively current on personal tech become more like a small rental fee. After several satisfied purchases, I am completely confident the item I see listed on Swappa is the product I will receive.

I’ve bought 2 iPhone XRs from the V-Tell Group seller so far. I can say I’ve never been let down. I bought them months apart and both were packaged neatly and conveniently. Both arrived with brand new screens and an added screen protector. Personally I like to buy new phones (not the latest) so I can save extra money. The iPhones came with a charger, a charging block, and a screen protector. The phone was sealed in a bubble wrap and tucked into the box nicely. I’m glad I could buy two XRs for the price of one. Excellent quality iPhone for a killer price!

I was on the market for a budget refurbished or pre-owned iPhone. Preferably a iPhone XR or later.Thanks to store credit, I was able to purchase this unit direct from the Best Buy website. And despite my concerns about buying a pre owned device, my fears were put to rest when I received my iPhone XR in the mail.The unit I received was in good condition with only a few minor scraps and minor domestic damage. Not a big deal really since it’s impossible to notice when the phone is put in a case. The screen was in perfect condition. Perfect Other Than No Pressure Sensitivity

It’s a great phone! I was expecting a used refurbished phone but this phone came brand new, still with the plastic wrapping on the box and the plastic protector on the phone’s screen. It works perfectly, the battery health is at 100% so a charge lasts all day even if you’re using it a lot. The only thing I was disappointed about is the different touchscreen..I had an iPhone 6s before this phone which had 3D Touch instead of Haptic Touch. You won’t really notice the difference unless you’re like me and do a lot of digital drawing on your phone. 3D Touch allows you to have pressure sensitivity since certain actions were determined by how much pressure you use when touching the screen. Phone needed new screen and digitizer, not covered

After about 60 days, the phone started showing a thick black strip down the left side and the colours looked washed out. Initiated warranty request as there was no visible external damage whatsoever.Sent the phone back to the seller, and was told that it had been inspected and that I had caused the damage and it was not covered. Not sure how this is possible since no visible damage and was in a case from day one. Took the phone to an independent phone repair and had it fixed for $150. The camera works like it’s been untouched, and the battery health is pretty decent (90%). Remember, there’s a difference between battery health and battery percentage.If, for at any reason at all you are unsatisfied with your order or need to return it, the customer service is good. If it’s within 30 days, you just need to go to and start an exchange. The process is simple, you make a request and typically get an email confirming that your order is eligible for a return. All you have to do is ship the package back to the sender’s address on the UPS box it came in. Be careful though, because since it came in an express box two day shipping is expensive. Once Plug Tech receives the package, they will refund you within 2-3 days but you won’t get the full amount back. There is about a $20 processing fee.Overall though, I am a proud customer of Plug Tech and will definitely come back for more. I’ve always been skeptical of the “refurbished” especially on technology, but Plug Tech has changed my mind and this is definitely the new way to go for the future. Problem after problem

The phone is good. Came on time not damage. However the Straight Talk locked to Carrier made it bad. I’ve used straight talk my whole life and never had a problem until now. I usually just switch the sim cards on my phone because they’re all straight talk phone. When I did this for the XR is was a little different. It worked at first but everytime I lost signal it would say Cellular Error and contact apple or carrier. The only way to fix it is keep restarting the Network setting when you get signal. After contacting apple there best solution was to get a new sim card. Straight talk on the other had was no help at all. They recommended a soft restart which didn’t fix it. Product Review

For a USED DEVICE that I purchased in excellent condition, the product is pretty pristine. Although there are scratches, they are pretty light; you would have to look at the device at a close distance, and even at an angle to actually see them. For the USED DEVICE that I purchased, my inspection of said device only revealed two (2) miniscule dents around my camera lens. In conclusion, I would like to add that this review is not to discourage anyone from purchasing, I am just giving my honest and unbiased thoughts. Also, please remember that this is a company that helps us to recycle e-waste; therefore, miniscule scratches and dents may be inevitable. However, this company's price, service and shipping will be worth it, especially since it helps the planet.
