I can't fault the wireless charger which is the usual Apple quality. The big 'BUT' for me was the non inclusion of a plug to connect it to the electricity. I expected that because it said so on the box but I didn't expect it to be so difficult to get one at a reasonable price. The USB C Apple adapter is £20 with others available on line from £10. The first went bang and fused the house. The 2nd worked so no problem. It was so much easier when Apple provided all that was needed for the article to work - all in one box.

i have multiple setups that i migrate my computers between. i also like to snake the many feet of wiring each setup has. when i replaced my MBP last year, of course the power tips i had laid out didnt work. thank goodness the power supplies offer the same amount of juice so i was able to switch over to the new computer without having to rebuild my snakes. thanks BH for the quick turn around on this indispensable item

I have to admit that I was quite skeptical about a 10 part allowing me to use my old chargers with my new MacBook Pro Retina Display, but after buying one of them I found myself very impressed, so much so that I quickly placed an order for a second one. The adapter is magnetic on both sides and quickly attached to my old MagSafe and then to my computer with ease. I have been pleasantly surprised at how well the adapter stays in place my primary prepurchase concern. I have three chargers two original MagSafes with the adapters, and one MagSafe 2 and can honestly say that I have seen no difference in quality or charging speed. In short I have two extra chargers that would have cost me 175 for only 20, a truly great deal

Replaced a dead 5 year old MBPro with an Air. I have a few extra older PSUs MagSafe ones lets call them at my key locations and buying this converter means I can use those instead of spending over a hundred pounds replacing them with Magsafe twos. So yes you can save some money using these on working MagSafe ones. This adapter is tiny 22.5x12.6x17.2mm but the strong magnet inside means it will stick to the cable and laptop reducing the chance of it dropping off and disappearing behind a cupboard. Or for that matter being swallowed by a kid or pet. The only decision is do you buy one and hope you manage to keep it with you at all times or buy one per PSU and hope no one pinches it when away from your desk. The tiny size for 9, the scepticism over Apple really needing ... MoreReplaced a dead 5 year old MBPro with an Air. The only decision is do you buy one and hope you manage to keep it with you at all times or buy one per PSU and hope no one pinches it when away from your desk. The tiny size for 9, the scepticism over Apple really needing the shape change for design reasons has made me stick to one for now but I anticipate eventually buying more. It is actually a remarkable object from an engineering and manufacturing point of view, quality item with fine tolerances, I just get a bit annoyed about the reasons for its existence and the profit margin.
I had this cable for 12 months now and in the 12 month. I have use it about 10 time. My biggest problem with this is it's taking very long time to charge my iPhone 13 pro max.And it get very warm when using it. It frustrates me because it feels like I'm charging my iPhone 13 pro max with the useless 5w usb plug with apple use to ship in the box. I have giving up on this MagSafe cable I found it too inconvenience. And it more expensive just to use this MagSafe cable.
Bought this Magsafe charger for the iPhone 12.Having had other wireless chargers around, the magnet used within the official chargers of apple is just a tad bit better.Using this in conjunction with my Car Kit.Having had car kits in the past, none seem to keep the phone properly stable, Now with the MagSafe charger, I am able to keep my phone in landscape or horizontal.Even when driving on bumpy roads it does not flinch and start to move around.Very happy with the result.
Pros: You can use phone when it’s stuck on the back of your phone. Normally it’s charger in it and now it’s on back. And looks good that’s itCons: Too expensive for the product. It should have been totally wireless. So also no lead between the msg safe which u put on ur phone, and the socket to get electricity. You should have made something like maybe 1 thing to put in socket to get electricity, and then other to put on your phone , but all should have been wireless ( and this was only reason I paid so much money for it)
I have plugged it on my laptop and does not charge the iphone 14. Perhaps my laptop does not give enough power for the unit. Without alternative charging it is difficult to know if it is functional.I do know that the USB-C work well on my laptopYou would have thought that the software on the device manager of the laptop would have made shown an error, but nothing seen
Like most Apple products, this is a neat design that doesn't seem very hard-wearing. I'm sure it's designed to be all style over substance and won't last long. Plus it suffers from the new Apple ethos of not giving you everything you need. This doesn't come with a plug - like previous Apple chargers - so you have to get one.(John Lewis - having just bought an iPhone 13 from you, it might be useful to adapt your website to show the other things customers will DEFINITELY need to buy with their new iPhone 13 as it comes with absolutely nothing - not even a pin to remove the sim. So they'll need a sim pic, a charger cable, a plug, ear pods... )
Fantastic wireless charger that will allow you to use your iPhone while charging without damaging the cable. The puck will get warm during usage because it's a wireless charger in a small puck, meaning a ton of electrons are shooting round the coils within to charge your phone. One review does mention getting heat warnings, this is either a false review or an isolated issue, I follow many tech forums and one thing with Apple products is if they have an issue minor or major they will be ripped for it for ages by Apple haters, so the smallest issues will be blown up to look major and I'm yet to hear anything about MagSafe causing the phone to provide warnings.I don't recommend using this if you don't have an iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max as the older ... MoreFantastic wireless charger that will allow you to use your iPhone while charging without damaging the cable. With the new phones the puck magnetically attaches with a satisfying click, now you can be sure that your phones isn't annoyingly not charging after not hitting the right spot on the charging mat.One other thing I should mention... MagSafe will NOT work with all non-MagSafe cases, if you have a thick (non MagSafe) case then you may need to remove it for the magnets to connect, you may still get power though. You can buy MagSafe cases from Apple and some third parties. If you have a MagSafe wallet you will need to remove the wallet to charge, otherwise it would damage your NFC and mag strip on your bank cards. This MagSafe cable is USB-C not USB-A so you will need a USB-C charging brick to use it and it needs to be 20W of power in order to get 15W fast charge.
