This keyboard cover works really well.You have to get used to the slight variances on key layout/ Like the @ is shift 2 on this keyboard.Other than that the feel is great and the backlighting is very useful.It is possible to inadvertently undock the iPASD as it is magnetically attached. If this happens then the iPAD can fall off and onto the floor. On a hard surface there is a real danger that you will break the iPAD. So accidental damage insurance is a good idea.When closed the cover is perfect, but the edges of the iPAD are exposed, again an opportunity to damage the expensive bit inside.Value for money I would say it is too expensive for what it is. But hey that Apple for you.

I upgraded my 4th generation 11" Air to a 5th generation (M1) 12.9" iPad Pro, after snagging one with the Black Friday discount. I use these for all of my iPads. The price is a little high in my opinion. But for what I need it is perfect. Protects the main areas and is easy to use. Folds in different ways to allow you to prop your ipad into a standing position for movie watching or other task. I am writing this now using my ipad as a 2nd screen to my Mac air. This case is folded in the back holding up the ipad. When I am finished, I will close the lip and it knows to go to sleep based on the lid being closed. Again, I have used all sorts of cases. Once I found this case about 8 years ago, I have not stopped using it.
Bought this by trading in my current gen iPad mini for the current gen iPad pro 12.9in. I have had older iPad pros in the past and this by far is the best one i bought. Battery life lasts all day even with heavy use. Screen is bright and colorful. USBC accessories i use on my MacBook Pro work just as good on the iPad Pro. Camera quality for the tablet is amazing. Perfect tablet for any use case from watching videos to power intensive tasks like editing videos, photos, and drawing and creative tasks.
This has been a great way to protect your iPad with only a small increase in weight. It does allow for various ways to allow for camera exposure when needed as well as providing different angles to watch videos etc. I have bought one for my 11” and 12.9”. I have had them for two and three years and they show no wear. I would rather use the keypad on my iPads than use the much heavy Magic Keyboard.

This case is the pentacle of build quality. It fits my iPad well and I can't imagine my iPad without it. My only gripe is that fingerprints and stains are there to stay forever. That's been my main issue with Apple cases. Otherwise, it is great!
