I upgraded my 4th generation 11" Air to a 5th generation (M1) 12.9" iPad Pro, after snagging one with the Black Friday discount. I was a little worried about the 12.9” iPad being too big, as I primarily use as a tablet versus having it on a stand or stood up by a case.I have really enjoyed the M1 power upgrade, larger screen, improved refresh rate, and the FaceID versus the touch ID on the Air. There are some other improvements as well, but for me, these are the most noticeable. I use these for all of my iPads. The price is a little high in my opinion. But for what I need it is perfect. Protects the main areas and is easy to use. Folds in different ways to allow you to prop your ipad into a standing position for movie watching or other task. I am writing this now using my ipad as a 2nd screen to my Mac air. This case is folded in the back holding up the ipad. When I am finished, I will close the lip and it knows to go to sleep based on the lid being closed. Again, I have used all sorts of cases. Once I found this case about 8 years ago, I have not stopped using it.
I bought this to replace the 5 1/2 year old Smart Keyboard for my 3rd generation iPad Pro. I used the old keyboard extensively with the iPad, eventually wearing it out. Given how much I enjoyed using the old keyboard and how long it lasted, it was an easy decision to replace it with essentially the same device. The only difference between the old and new keyboard is the size of the back camera opening, which is larger on this newer version. I also prefer this keyboard over Apple's Magic Keyboard because I can fold it back behind the iPad for reading a book, which the Magic Keyboard doesn't do.
I’ve owned the Magic Keyboard and Logi’s version for the 11 and 12.9 inch iPad Pros - every generation. Logi’s keyboard is great for protection and versatility. It works nearly as well as Apple’s Magic Keyboard, but it costs a fraction of the price. But if you don’t need a trackpad or if you use a mouse or larger external Magic Trackpad, this is the way to go, in my opinion. I need the ability to take my iPad out of the case, so, while the Logi is my preferred case for features/protection, taking it in and out is too much of a hassle. The Magic Keyboard is a bit heavy and bulky, even though I agree that it’s a work of art, but the folio-style keyboard (this one) ended up being the one I used most. Purchase this thing ever so but y’all keep asking me to review it so go ahead and shoot me a demo so I can go ahead and try it out and give you an honest review. I will be unbiased and I’ll be truthful and it’ll be wonderful or just go ahead and give me the $400 gift card because y’all been asked me to review stuff I did not buy and maybe I guess somebody bought it on my account. Maybe that’s where my gift card went. They got used up that they never replaced. That would be awesome. If y’all did that too replaced the $800 gift card that I got from my laptop that I gave y’all that that someone stole from me and used and I called in time to get it shut off before they ordered, but y’all wouldn’t stop them from picking it up so now I’m out my money
This thing is incredible, I have no idea why apple discontinued it. It is waterproof, lightweight, durable, and everything you could possibly want for an ipad. It doesn’t interfere with using a stylus since you can fold it behind the ipad and it magnetically locks behind. Additionally, it magnetically locks in when you are using the keyboard. Overall just an incredible product that does everything it is designed to do perfectly. Well worth the price.

This folio works perfectly for the latest version (4th) of iPad Pro, but not for the 2nd generation of the same model. Its odd because the box says the folio is for the first two generations, but the magnets are in the wrong place to hold the folio in place for the 2nd generation. Plus, the camera cutout is much too large for the 2nd generation iPad Pro. The build is good. The lining is soft. For a cover that is 1/3 the cost of the original, its definitely worthwhile to consider. I cant comment on durability, but Im pleased with purchase so far. Just be aware that an older iPad Pro might not work with this folio.
