Got this cable for my wife. She like to cable charge and reads on her phone in bed, so I needed something that would reach and didn't want to wait for something to ship. Picked this up in store. It does the trick, supports super fast charging on Samsung and it didn't even start a war when I plugged it into a non-Apple device. It feels like it can survive a lot of use and we can use it for a long time. Also out of curiosity I checked to see if it would support the 65w charge my laptop uses on the usb-c port with Power Deliver. It did. So this seems like a great cable that can be used for charging all you devices - phone, headphones, laptop, mouse, etc.

Before then, I made a recent error of using third USB-C plugs on my M1, always too slow, never charge, and eventually the laptop would not accept power charging anymore. After purchasing this item (with the App 30W USB-C power adapter) charging was super fast and much more convenient for my laptop. You even don't need to wait a few minutes when plugging the laptop dead. The laptop will boot right back up. Highly recommended.

Only one that fits right. I have issues with buying knock off cords. They fray, or are not reliable. Costs for the Apple product is about the same as knock offs and are slightly above average for durability. Although charge is much more easier and faster Only giving 4 stars as Apple cords aren’t any more durable than a knock off. Giving 5 stars on length of charge needed, Apple gets it there much faster.
I purchased this for my son. He is an online tutor & uses zoom with his Mac & iPad. He bought a generic cable & has had nothing but trouble with it. The Apple cable is the only one that works with Zoom & Mac.The cable goes from Mac to iPad, a very short distance. It’s much longer than needed, but Apple doesn’t make a shorter cable. If you’re having issues with Zoom connections & a Mac, I highly recommend this cable.

Purchased this to replace my laptop chord that stopped charging my MacBook Air. It lasted about a week or two and then stopped working again. I thought maybe it was the box plug that it plugs into that stopped working so I bought a new one of those too but nope, it’s the chord. Pretty frustrated because now it is after the returnable time frame and $30 is a steep price to pay just for the chord. There were no kinks in the chord, it sat in one spot in touched for the week it was being used…
I was horrified to find that my puppy chewed my daughters MacBook charging cable. Due to financial constraints and my inability to make it to an iDtore I was about to purchase a genetic cable, when my daughter advised against it. Mom I need the MacBook for school and I need it to charge. So I ****** it up and bought the cabke on/line - expecting like all South African stores it would take over a week to deliver and my child would miss on/lube scho when the device ran out of charge.
