This is an outstanding addition to my phone. I usually transfer photos from my SLR using wifi. However, there are times when the camera will not link to the iPhone by wifi and it can take a number of attempts to link the camera with the phone.This connector removes the need to link the iPhone with the camera and allows immediate transfer of photos from the camera. I don't why I waited so long to buy this.Highly recommended for those who wish to quickly upload photos from an SD card to an iPhone. This adapter requires an iPhone with a USB C port.

This product is useful for what it sets out to do and accomplishes just that. The only factor that might disrupt one's satisfaction is the price. If the price was more consumer friendly and not excessive solely due to the product being sold by Apple, I may have just kept this rather than returning it after use. The main question to ask is not whether the adapter is good or not (you can rest assured with Apple) but rather if it's worth the current price.

Service was quick and friendly. The item I needed was easy to locate and well displayed. The only unit on shelf was a return (at a small discount) but the employee did search their system to make sure there was not a brand new one available. No issues with the item thus far and I use it daily.

I have the iPhone 15, and the new USB-C port on the phone makes everything so much easier. I use a Sony camera to take photos and videos, and when I want to be able to view the phone and edit it on my phone, I used to have to take out my computer and hub to download the photos/videos from the memory card onto my laptop and then airdropping it to myself.Now, I can easily view the photos on the memory card, save them to my photo albums, and carry one without doing too much! It just works seamlessly and makes it so much easier to do things on the creative side. I faced some challenges when attempting to read this on my Galaxy phone. When I bought the phone, I was told it would work with this, but upon further investigation, I realized that the description online did not mention compatibility with phones. It is possible that the issue lies with either the phone model or the SD cards that I used. To resolve this, I decided to upgrade my equipment and purchased a new MacBook Pro. As part of the upgrade, I also got the Hyper 7-Port Universal USB-C Hub - USB-C Docking Station for Laptops, which I'm extremely happy with.
I purchased a new iPad & of course I needed a new card reader to transfer my photos from my camera to my iPad. I purchased the Apple USB-C to SD Card Reader. I could not get the iPad to recognize the device. I called Apple & the Apple Rept tried & he couldn’t either. He suggested it may be defective. I returned to BB for another one. The BB Member helped me with the new one. It did not work either. BB did refund my money. Thus the reason for my one star review. Very disappointed…
Terrific for my new Sony - Alpha a7 III Mirrorless [Video] Camera with FE 28-70 mm F3.5-5.6 OSS Lens - Black. Had to buy a chip card and OOOPS I need a dongle-thingy USB to SD Card Reader for my mac. Those hundreds of pics from vacation and field trips need to be sorted and parsed on my laptop. This is the choice. Highly recommend. The tricky part buying a DSLR is knowing all the accessories you ALSO need: (1) USB to SD Card Reader (2) SD card (3) camera case (4) UV filter for lens protection. The store associate was GREAT for this. Finally, someone in sales who knows something.
