Apple USB-C to USB Adapter Cable

This is genuine Apple branded USB to USB-C charging cable , the short version and very impressed with its design, speed and durable design yet simple and short for relevant needs. This cable is high quality. Great charging cable for all normal needs and to do those common transferring of data to your laptop like pictures,files and videos. The cord is a perfect length and quick data transfers or compatible device connections. Worth the price and for it offers and coming from OEM, I highly recommend buying this.

I needed this to connect to my dj controller and it was pretty cheap! I recall it was $19 . I could’ve easily bought one from Amazon or some other site but I’d rather not risk buying off brand adaptors I’d rather stick to Apple. I love it it’s such good quality . I just wish the macbooks would just have usb plugs

This adapter is compatible with any Apple product. It’s small, making it portable on the go. The ability to plug in hubs and not just 1 thing at a time makes it very Versatile. And the performance is much better than any aftermarket adapter. With a sleek appearance. These would also look good in black.

A reliable Apple product

I bought a new Apple laptop recently; they don't have USB ports any more so the user is required to buy an 'add on' to connect anything that requires USB. I knew this when I bought it but I find Apple products to be good quality and reliable so accept this inconvenience. As the laptop is new and I intend to make it last a long time I decided to get a branded Apple USB adaptor rather than a cheaper alternative. It works perfectly well. Time will tell if it lasts

OEM only

It’s much better than the generic brand adapter. With all of the various wdapters, you get what you pay for. The extra cost pays for itself right away because there’s nothing worse for than spending for the lesser product only to have it unusable or it’s where you have to hold the connector just a certain way for it to work. I say that from experience I assure you.Pay for the apple product every time and you won’t be disappointed.

These are great, if not vital for a new MacBook Pro.

The new Macbook Pro is great, but there are only thunderbolt ports on it. I have a two-drive enclosure for backup. I could back up my previous MacBook Pro wirelessly over my network to a drive in another part of the house. That technology will not work with the new Mac OS.So, I'm using a two-drive holder with USB out. I was using a third party USB to Thunderbolt adapter, but the connection at the MacBook Pro was not that solid and I was getting messages that the drives had been improperly disconnected. I got the Apple version adapters. Same problem.I called Apple and the support guy said he had not heard of this problem. There were 157 others who had clicked on the "me too" feature.The thunderbolt connection is not overly loose. I tried all four of them on the MacBook Pro. But it IS loose enough to throw a signal that the drive has been disconnected improperly. I think the tolerance on the ports need to be tighter.Curiously, resetting the SMC allows the adapter to work for a few days before it begins to fail again. Since acquiring the MacBook Air I have had to obtain rather many Adapters to transfer the old technology files as well as pairing the Magic Mouse with the Laptop. One of the Adapters was not an Apple product and it did not work. But - when exchanged with a genuine Apple USB-C to Lightning cable (for the Mouse), all went smoothly which ruled out my original suspicion of the Mouse being defective. I have now used all the other Apple Adapters, including the USB-C to USB Adapter, and they all work 100%. Good of JB Hi-Fi to store them and provide an efficient online buying service..
