Apple Watch Series 4 44mm Space Grey Aluminium Case (GPS + Cellular)

I previously had an Apple Watch Series 1, then when the series 5s came out, I decided to upgrade. The 5s have an always on display and are waterproof (up to a certain depth) vs splashproof. It offered an EKG meter and a Barometric Altimeter. Weather affects my migraines, so that one I was interested in! Mostly, I still use the 5 the same as I did the 1, for texts and messages. I have recently been tracking sleep, so I charge it while I’m showering. I’ll probably wait until they release a series 9 or 10. There’s nothing more that I’m needing out of a watch at the moment. This series was a great improvement from series 1, and even the series 1 was fantastic! Main reason why I got this watch was for fitness reasons and it did not disappoint. I wanted to monitor my steps, burned calories, heart rate, and summary of workout. The data is then stored on fitness app which helps me track progress throughout the whole week or month. I love how I can add and challenge friends with apple watch and see if they’ve been exercising as well. Other features that I love are directly answering calls, sending and reading text messages on the watch, automatically unlocking my MacBook, and the list goes on. The only drawback is the battery life depreciates over time and it’s a common problem among apple watch users regardless of the model. It is worth buying since it made everything more convenient!

99.9% of the newest features at only 1/4th the cost

in 2022 the Apple Watch Series 5 is SERIOUSLY still of great value. While I did use it for a bit, I am a Series 7 owner and I gave this watch to my girlfriend. From experience, I can tell you it does basically everything that my series 7 does. The only thing I ended up missing was the on-screen keyboard. I get that most people don't use that, so it is a niche thing. I'd say this is better than the Apple Watch SE at a lesser cost, as it has a perfectly useable always-on display still. Marvelous how more people aren't jumping to buy these used.

Beware

This watch came to me and LOOKED beautiful. To be refurbished, I thought I had hit the jackpot, because it was less than $90.What a disappointment!! It took a long time to even come on, then it kept shutting itself off, and would NOT sync with my iPhone. Yes, I let it get charged fully AND made sure my iPhone was up to date on the latest software. Oh, and thats another thing, the watch needed an update too and my iPhone tried, but it was unsuccessful SEVERAL times. The only screen I could see was the Apple then some Spirograph looking screen. That was it. It would NOT go any farther. I never even got the option to enter a passcode or anything.The plus side is……. I bought 2 Apple Watches for my girls for Christmas. One of them will not do anything. Can’t pair it to the phone, says it needs updated. I have tried everything that was suggested, contacted apple.. nothing. I’ve reached out to the sellers twice about getting an exchange. Nothing. So initiated a return because I am tired of them ignoring me. I totally get somethings may not work… it’s technology. But I hate that they have refused to contact me back for weeks now!! If they’re going to run a successful business then they may want to treat their customers better.

Good for what it is

The watch itself was great for the first few days. There is minor scratches which is acceptable. Battery is at 93% life however, even after turning off location, background refresh, and bluetooth it still finishes at half day I take it off the charger when I wake up and have to charge it around 3pm. The charger is generic and keep disconnecting after 90%. I come from the normal $50 watches and their battery lasts for over a week. My family has apple watches and this is not a problem for them, I'm guessing there is an issue with this one.

Great condition

I love how it came in fast just in two days. Order it on Tuesday and it got here today. It does has some small scratches on the right hand corner. But I don’t mind about that, that’s how mine MK smart watch is. Plus I love how reasonable the price was this Watch is. Don’t really care it’s an older model series it’s a good affordable watch price. I can’t really afford an 500 higher or newer model series. As long as the watch turn on and works I am completely fine with it.

Great for teenagers

I usually don’t like to write a review right away because i want to make sure i actually use the product. With that being said my Apple Watch came very fast. Arrived in secure packaging. I ordered good and the screen looked brand new. There were a few scratches on the side of the Watch, you could only tell if you really started analyzing it.I use my Apple Watch for school and it lasts all day, after school I still had 40% left on the Watch. Everything functions great my only downside is this Apple Watch not having a keyboard but this has absolutely nothing to do with plug tech, and i can still buy a keyboard in the App Store for $7. Is a deal REALLY a deal?

So I screwed up. I didn't read the reviews on this store before buying. It was such a good deal! Grab it before it's gone! Dang it.For a refurbished Watch that was listed in excellent condition, the screen looks worse than the Series 2 I just retired after 4 years of daily service on my arm! The previous wearer must've enjoyed dragging their wrist across jagged metal and rocks because this screen is CRAZY scratched. Also, the band is white, but DEF not the white band shown in the advert. Def NOT an Apple Watch brand band.But the Watch works with my 13 (my Series 2 didn't), and it seems to be working as I need it to...at least right now. I'm concerned about the "refurbished" label. Two Times a Fail

The Apple Series 5 GPS watch has many glowing reviews but, sadly, mine is not among them. I am taking the time to write this review in the hope that Apple will fix the issues that appear to impact some iPhone users more than others. More specifically, I caution those with Apple SE iPhones that the compatibility would appear to be marginal. That’s not my opinion but the result of having purchased not one but two watches. The first Series 5 GPS watch was returned on Apple’s own recommendation after it failed to remain properly connected to the phone. Resetting the watch, the phone, the network connection and re-pairing did not resolve the issues with either watch. The watch seemingly loses the connection to the phone even when they’re in the same room with full-strength Bluetooth and WiFi connections. As a result, Siri is unreliable — as judged by the fact that Siri prefaces every response with “Uh oh. I’ve lost the network connection”. (The connection is eventually successful but it gets very old, very fast hearing Siri stutter and cut out on account of the connectivity glitches.) For the same reason, placing calls on the watch is mostly unsuccessful. Even when the watch and the phone are side-by-side, it is not possible to reliably answer incoming calls, either, because the watch will ring but the answer button (phone handset icon) always appear on the screen. In summary, thirst watch was thought to be defective per Apple support, but the second is no better. This would seem to suggest that the phone, itself, is the variable that the Series 5 watch does not “like” (although for all other purposes I have had no issues whatsoever with the iPhone SE).After a lot of troubleshooting and online research, I suspect compatibility of the Series 5 watch with the iPhone SE is only marginal. This is terribly disappointing because I didn’t buy it for the fitness tracking but the safety factor. Back in the fall I tripped in my yard while home alone and sufferred a concussion. While recovering, I heard about the “fall detection” feature on the Apple watch. I thought it would be useful to have “fall detection” since I live on a large, hilly rural property. Unfortunately, 911 call functionality is entirely dependent upon being able to maintain a bluetooth connection to one’s phone (which should, in turn, allow for a 35’ range from one’s phone). In my experience with not one but two of these Series 5 GPS watches, the Bluetooth connection and/or WiFi drops out, making for a low success rate even when the phone and the watch are merely inches apart. Until Apple fixes this watch-SE compatibility issue, my advice for SE owners is to steer clear.
