Or the phone will remind you even at 11 at night that you haven’t closed your rings it can be annoying hence 4 stars.but make no mistake I love this watch I fell safer when I’m on my own I suffer with very bad vertigo it comes in with zero notice and my last attack was very bad 2 weeks in hospital not funny at all I do live on my own and my kids and grandkids do check on me but due to the nature of the illness it has no set time for coming on and making you fall this watch will now phone my emergency contacts and the emergency services if I fall and don’t move.it notifies my family if I fall full stop so for me it’s a Marvellous bit of kit and justifies my independence and my way of living it’s a huge help which at some point I’m deffo gonna needHope this helps have a lovely day ??

Apple Watch Series 8 - a Five Star Upgrade!

I've had a Series 1 Apple Watch for what feels like a lifetime and it still looks like brand new and functions well, albeit with a basic specification compared with the latest watches. My hubby surprised me with a new Series 8 watch and I'm absolutely delighted with it. I am still exploring the new features it offers, especially the health related ones and highly recommend to potential purchasers. It looks great, sits so comfortably on the wrist and and I still feel like Inspector Gadget when I take a call on it when I'm out and about! I also have to say that the John Lewis customer service experience was amazing compared with another store, where I was kept waiting for 30 minutes by staff who were definitely not busy. Disappointing.

So I mostly got this watch to keep track of day to day calorie burning and steps and to get an in depth analysis of any exercise I do. As someone who mainly uses the stepper in the gym, this watch is very good at monitoring heart rate and calories etc.Unfortunately if you are wanting to use this watch for jogging/running, my watch has really let me down. Part way through a jog it decided to change the exercise I was doing to a walk. This begins a whole new exercise recording and calories, distance, pace etc is all reset. Part way through that supposed walk, it turned it into a fresh new walking session. All while I'm happy jogging away thinking nothing is wrong. Excellent smart watch

Before this Apple Watch 8 45mm I had a series 6 40 mm Apple Watch.The battery life is much better on the Series 8. I usually charge it while I have a shower, that time is enough for a full charge thanks to the fast charging system. After 24 hour the battery level is around 50%. So one full charge is almost enough for two days.The original silicone band is great if I use it in the swimming pool but I bought another trail loop band for my watch. The trail loop is the most comfortable band I ever used.The Watch has crash detection feature which is great to have but hopefully I will never use it. Great Features

Thought for a long time about buying an Apple Watch then I saw the Ultra. Watched many reviews on YouTube and decided to take the plunge. Well made I like the fact that it’s Titanium much more rugged than Aluminium. I do a lot of sport and this fits the bill. Swimming all year round I like to know the temperature of the water and how long I can stay in. Bigger buttons for my chunky fingers. Easy to use and the different watch faces are great. The night time look is very good red colour. Always on feature is also good and the extended battery life. I can charge it at night ready for a full day. The battery life for me is good almost 2.5 days without a charge depending on usage. Overall a good build quality and plenty of useful features and apps. Great Value for money

As people may know by now apples product quality is one of the best on the market my apple watch series 3 still works to this day and even my old iphone 1 stills works.The apple watch ultra may just very be overkill for many people as some of the features are a bit much and you may even not use them for your entire time you have the watch. But I think its better to have it and not need it then it need it and not have it. The quality of the watch is outstanding as its a titanium case which will protect from many scratches.Battery life is also good lasting around 2-3 with normal use. I highly reccomend this watch to anybody with a series 3 or below because apple can't support anymore software updates for those watches.Overall Its a good watch to have.

Great gift!

I received this watch for Christmas. I was unsure of it, because it is intimidating to me. I am not good with electronics, but I decided to try it. Truth be told my teenage son set it up for me before I even had a chance to google how to do it. I have been using it and even though I know there is much more to it I have loved the encouragement that it gives me. It tells me it’s time to stand and move for 1 minutes several times a day. It tells me how close I am to meeting my exercise goals. I am really liking it! My New Year resolution was to be more mindful and get my steps in. Well, this is really helping me! To date I have lost 5 lbs since Jan 1. I’m happy about that. I can also see when someone texts me, or calls me. The Apple Watch ultra is fantastic and I love it, wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. It motivates you to move and the health features are amazing tracking your sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen, wrist temperature, ECG, can't comment on cycle tracking as I'm a man. The battery life is understated by apple, I get a full two days out of this watch, making hours of calls, sending texts, checking notifications and tracking at least 3 hours of workouts and it's not in low power mode. It charges from 1% to 100% in just over an hour with a 20 watt USB c charger.
