Aqara Curtain Driver E1 (Rod Version)

Got this for my bedroom. Easy to instal. Disappointed. That S1E special scene cannot control two curtain drivers. Can only choose left or right driver. So cannot do open sesame effect. Will complaint to Aqara. How can.

Product ok, the wrapping is disappointing. Only 1 piece of bubble wrap to wrap one round on the product. Definitely will damage during the transit.

Work wells with the Aqara app and the Apple Homekit. Cheaper alternative to the motorised curtain track.

Seller is great. They didn’t have immediate stock so inform me that my delivery will be late. Throughout the process, they kept me updated on the stock arrival and dispatch. Great to keep a seller providing details which is very assuring, especially when I only receive a letter initially.

Powerful motor. Curtain driver glided to open / close position fast. However, best use with curtain track alone, if using with curtain and sheer track, opening and closing of curtains will be obstructed if the tracks are too near. I’m using with with curtain and sheets - need to find a way to pin the sheer down to avoid any obstruction. Overall very happy with this device.

Excellent Curtain Driver

These are built tough and have great power to pull your curtains. The battery lasts over a year with daily open/close. With some ingenuity most. rails came be used (not expanding ones) mine actually hooks over the rail there are many options. It needs a Aqara hub and works with Apple HomeKit and Alexa plus more

Not as simple as it looks

I am not usinng the Aqara hub, but home-assistant. Home assistant recognizes the curtains, however, if you have 2 curtains, for one curtain can not change the direction of the motor in home-assistant or manually via the set-up button. This means for one curtain Open/Close is correct, for the other curtain, Open/close is inverted. Not a big problem, but a pity.More problematic is that the motor does not pass my rail-extension. I have 2 Gardinia rails connected, the motor runs to the point where the connector is position, but stops there as it sees it as an obstacle. Have not yet managed to solve this.
