Set up the device in less than 5 minutes. Really quick and easy. The playback feature requires microSD card but it’s not necessary, but it’s really good to have.Received device in less than 3 days. Buying some more in the next sale

Frustrated

Without knowing much about hubs, zigbee or otherwise, I just wanted a camera that could monitor my driveway from the inside of my window and had night vision. I took a chance with this Aqara and did my research. I'm having the most common difficulty with the unit -connecting to my Wifi. I must have spent 6-8 hours of frustration moving the unit around the house trying to get connect - no luck. Although nice and small, no charging brick of starter micro SD card were included.

I can’t fully recommend this, it disappointed me.

Ok I like this, but don’t really love it. First the Good; It has a lot of functions. One feature that is really cool is an events color indicator. You can indicate an event to be a certain color and when you review the file, the timeline shows that color on the timeline. It’s small, lightweight. Its stand is flexible and can be mounted in many different ways. The picture has a nice wide angle.Now the bad. It was frustrating to set-up and requires you to give it access to all kinds of information before you can move forward. Not clear on taking picture of QR code. The picture quality is not what I expected when I think of 1080HD. My phone is a 1080HD at 30fps and is definitely better (see pictures). Night vision through a window produces a reflection of the ring of lights (see pictures). So, there are too many minuses right now for me to consider this as the system I want to use for multiple other devices/systems in my home.

Nice Camera with built-in Zigbee Hub

The Aqara Camera Hub G2H Pro is a very nice, low to mid level priced camera and Zigbee 3 hub with many low to mid priced accessories available. I originally got the camera more for hub than the camera and was disappointed that only Aqara Zibee accessories will connect to the hub. However, the camera is a nice indoor camera with 1080P crystal clear viewing and recording. It has night vision, two way audio, motion detection and sound detection. You can use a microSD card up to 512gb of storage for recording video or it can be set up for NAS storage. It has Timelapse capabilities and you can even set up a privacy area that will be blacked out during video display or recording. Only works on 2.4ghz network

Good camera, but requires a 2.4Ghz network to work. It’s not possible to set up the camera on a 5ghz wifi or a 2.4ghz and 5ghz combined wifi such as Google Nest. Did not test on a 6ghz wifi

Useless--unable to connect to wifi

Following the very poor instructions, I was unable to connect the Aqara Camera Hub G2H Pro to my home Wi-Fi network. Actually, the cellphone “Aqara Home” app didn’t even find my WI-fi network, so I tried going into it as a guest. This seemed to work until I had to put a CR code in front of the camera. At that point, the camera couldn’t register the CR code. Without that, the product is utterly worthless. So, there are many problems with setting it up. A further concern is that the app requires you to allow “data” to be collected. While the agreement state that Aqara will not sell the data to 3rd parties, note that this is a Chinese company. I don’t know what data is collected, but I’m reluctant to grant permission to send my data to a Chinese firm. Nice and small camera. Mounting options are good, although the magnetic base doesn’t seem very good to hold the camera. It has held on okay since installing. Clear vision, night mode is good, angle is good. I would recommend this camera.
