This water cooler caused my power bill to rise over $100 in a single quarter!Horribly inefficient and should be banned from sale due to the amount of power it wastes. DO NOT PURCHASE!

I’ve had this for 2 weeks. The water itself is tasty, cheap and convenient but I honestly expected the water to be colder. It’s not really that nice chill fridge temperature it’s more of a cold just above room temperature vibe. The cold side of my machine was blocked when I first put it together so before you put the water bottle in make sure the hoses aren’t kinked. It’s a good machine just wish I could change the temperature

We have had this water dispenser in our house for almost a year now and it has proved totally invaluable.... We consume plenty of cold water on a daily basis, more so in summer and having the hot water is great in these winter months for making hot drinks and cup a soups whenever you feel like one and not having to boil the jug. For over 10+ years I paid an exorbinant yearly fee for a "serviced" water dispenser, not to mention the cost of the bottled water and the fact you had to order a minimum amount and after purchasing this dispenser - I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THAT AGAIN.... My Mum who is elderly totally loves the dispenser as it means she doesn't have to fill, boil and lift a heavy electric kettle when she wants a hot drink and she is drinking a lot more cold ... MoreWe have had this water dispenser in our house for almost a year now and it has proved totally invaluable.... My only small gripes are that I wish the hot water was a little bit hotter, especially for soup and also I wish that both the hot and cold water reserviours were larger as the hot water is only approx 500ml and after two cups - that's it drained. It would also be great if the dispenser weighed a bit more too, as when the bottled water is getting low it can slip a little on the kitchen bench. When I got the machine the hot water was only tepid but I contacted Aqua To Go and their AWESOME staff had the issue fixed in one phone call.... If it ever breaks down I will have ABSOLUTELY no hesitation in purchasing another one. The bottled water is cheaper too and the bottles are genuinely squashable for recycling - bonus for the planet...

As a cooler it works well - I don't have much use for the heater yet but assume it will come in handy in the cooler months. The internal cooler tank capacity would be better if it was twice the size.
I bought this yesterday. Was worried with all the negative reviews posted here, so I bought extended warranty. When I got the unit home I read the instructions carefully and followed the manual for cleaning and setup etc step by step. Took a little while to do it but was totally worth it, water tastes great. Taps work well, water is nicely cold and hot tea is absolutely brilliant ( right temperature and very clean taste).I nearly didn't buy it because of all the negative reviews. So glad I still went ahead. Not renting another brand unit at monthly fee so feel at this price had a big win.Only negative can say would be better if the plastic feet the unit sits on had rubber inserts to stabilise, as unit very light ( especially as water is consumed) and slides easily ... MoreI bought this yesterday. Otherwise very happy.
We were so excited to have our new hot cold water coolers for our offices however excitement turned to disappointment when after following all installation instructions on both units the water taste is horrid. No-one at either office will drink from the unit due to the terrible taste.
This is my 2nd water cooler, 1st tripped power in my house after months of trying to get rid of the terrible plastic taste it gave the water. And now number 2 has also started tripping power in the house.
As the saying goes you get what you pay for. For the price this dispenser cost i would say you get good value for you're money. If you plan on relying on this to throw you're kettle out, i would suggest you pay the extra 300 dollers to get one with a built in thermostat. Very happy with mine just giving a heads up for those who don't mind throwing a little extra cash around
When we first used the unit, I didn’t wash the unit out. There was a terrible taste in the water. Despite this unit advertising free of a range of chemicals it’s clearly not free of whatever chemical we could taste in the water. After extensive washing, we managed to get rid of the taste in the water. The usability of the unit isn’t great. The taps can’t flick up as they are to close to the top of the unit. So when trying to fill up a jug or anything bigger than a standard glass like a drink bottle it is awkward to use.I wish I had read product review beforehand as I would not have purchased this unit.
Bought day one the cold water tap stopped working. Sent back got an exchange the same problem happens again. Lot's of hassles and pains as we have to finish the bottle.
