Relinquish your reliance on bottled water with this filtered water cooler from Aquaport, a refreshing solution for busy families and small offices. This cooler can hold up to 6.5 litres of filtered water, with a chill rate of two litres per hour. The chilling is thanks to Aquaport’s thermoelectric cooling technology. Of course, the unit can also deliver water at an ambient temperature—handy if anyone in your household has sensitive teeth. Because it’s made to sit on benchtops, you can position the cooler where you need it the most. The filter will rid your water of impurities such as copper, lead, and chlorine, as well as any bad tastes and odours. A digital counter will keep track of filter life, sending you an alert when it’s time for a change. Using the cooler in dimly lit spaces will be a breeze thanks to the blue LED illumination. Stay hydrated without hassle with this convenient filtered water cooler from Aquaport.

Cold water pipe blocked one month out of warranty

It’s a shame that our units cold water pipe is blocked after 13 months. One would expect a unit like this to last for years and now the most used feature - cold water - in summer is not usable anymore. Now we hope that the retailer will provide us with a solution, otherwise it’s a very expensive filter.

This stylish water cooler delivers cold refreshing water very easily. What's more it looks stylish on the bench in the kitchen. I live in the tropics and it's hot, so easy quick access to cold water is essential. This is the best applance I have bought for a while. It works brilliantly and is easy to refill. It encourages extra water consumption because it is so easy to use and the water is filtered.

Aesthetically, this looks great, the stainless steel finish (I had to travel to a neighboring towns Harvey Norman to specifically get this one as my local one didn't have it in stock), the overall shape and cool blue glow are all spot on, but unfortunately, there's not enough under the hood. The unfiltered and filtered reservoirs are fine, although the filter placement often causes water to splash when filling from a jug. Where it starts to go wrong are really the two most crucial items in a filter / cooler. The internal chilled reservoir simply is not big enough, before you've even filled one cup (av 250ml size) the chiller is already on, the second cup is ok but noticeably not as cool and the 3rd might as well be from the ambient temperature dispenser. This obviously depends on how many people are going to be using it, but in a family of four, meal times make for a fight to get the first or second glass of water from it. It is also rather slow at chilling the water, but the overall temperature of the dispensed water is initially fine. If the internal reservoir was increased by at least 50% and a few watts added to the cooling motor, this would be an excellent product, as it stands, it really is just average.

Great bench top water chiller
19 February 2023

Great little bench top unit. Chills water well and easy to refill. Kids have been drinking a lot more water since we have had it and easy to operate so they just help themselves.

MEREDITH's review of Desktop Filtered Water Cooler Stainless Steel
10 May 2019

Pros: Very easy to use and great to be able to have cold water in summer from one of the two outlets. Cons: Could be 10 litre capacity. We have fairly dodgy tank water that smells a bit like dead mouse, so we are filtering ALL water. Getting a bit over having to continually fill this machine. It would only be a minor tweak required by Aquaport - a slightly taller unit. No brainer really!

STOPPED AFTER 18 MONTHS OPERATION
15 May 2022

I purchased this unit in October 2020. I'm the only person using it. I ensured back air vents were cleaned regularly and inside of unit was cleaned every 6 months at filter change. Then went to use it one morning and no lights on. Tried in another power point and no luck. Won't be buying anything like this again. Appears motor is to small and unable to operate unit 24/7.

So far so good!
4 May 2017

We bought this product from HN over 6 months ago and it's been great so far. It's our 4th water filter - the other brand filters stopped cooling after about 12-18 months due to motor issues. I like Aquaport brand because of its 7 liter capacity, 3 temperature settings, countdown timer and it makes the water taste great. The negatives for me are: 1. The tap is too low and you can't put a sports water bottle under it; 2. The water comes out very slowly and it takes ages to fill up 2 liter water bottle compared to the other brands with more powerful motors; 3. The replacement cartridge is very expensive. Let's hope this one lasts long past its warranty expiry date ;)

Underwhelmed
18 April 2022

This is a base level water cooler. The filter counter in the lid, hasn't worked from day one. The two levers are too close together, so it very easy to press the room temp lever when pressing the cold water lever. I would have expected better for the price.

Water quality improved.
20 September 2021

Have had this for a few weeks and already love the difference. No more plastic bottles, cool drinking water and you notice the difference in the water quality. Sits on the bench and used constantly. Love.

Perfect benchtop water cooler. This is our second cooler which we use continually and encourages everyone to drink more water. Lovely cold filter water. Would highly recommend
