Bought this pump as it boasted over 3m of height but it doesnt come close. Now I need to purchase a larger one. It can probably do 5000L per hour but without a hose connected or any height required. If you are close to the specs then get the bigger one. Was very disappointed in the pressure also.

Excellent little pump for our water fountain. replaced last pump after 5&1/2 years. Still worked but nylon cogs a little rattly so decided to replace whilst doing some maintenance on the fountain.

All I can say is, that I find these pumps really good, reliable pumps. I use them to dive the water, and nutrients through my hydroponic systems. I can't think of anything, negative to say about them
I thought this item would be more powerful and function more efficiently than it does, particularly for the price paid.
Whilst the product itself is of reasonably good quality its manual, instructions & backup service/parts, leave a lot to be desired. The manual is generic for all their filters & pumps & because their written by non English speaking countries, they are very confusing. Instructions are gobbledegook. It might as well have been written by a chimpanzee. Basically you have to work it out yourself. Good luck with it. Shea4arch
The 5000 l/h is ideal for pumping water from an aquarium sump to a 6x2x2 fish tank. It comes with plenty of hose attachments, and rubber feet or suction cups to minimise vibrations. I have an old school spinning spraybar over bio balls sump, and this submersible pump makes the spray bar spin super fast. Flow control can be adjusted at the pump with the lever, so that is a bonus.
Very happy with this pump. Not only is it powerful and quiet, it came with a variety of fittings, to enable me to install it in a better way than I had planned.
This unit is great. We use it in our fountain and as the flow rate is adjustable we can set the fountain for high or low effect.
Exactly what I needed for the outdoor pond. Proper wiring. Not the normal clear thin cable have seen on others. Plenty of power and I liked the flow restriction capability. Thank you
