First of all in the homologation, now ECE R22-06, (it requires a more stringent test process than the previous ECE R22-05 homologation and foresees more points of impact, as well as an oblique test to measure the rotation of the helmet), the ventilation is even more evolved thanks to the improvements in the internal channels, the ergonomics of the cheek pads have improved in the event of an impact. Precisely for this last reason, Arai produces the most rounded, smooth and resistant outer shells possible to improve the helmet's ability to slide and deflect energy.
