Let me preface this review by saying up front that these are the best arch support thongs i've ever worn, and the only reason they don't get a 5 star review, is going to be posted below.ME: on the wrong side of "young", overweight yet active (cycling, snowboarding 35+ days a season locally, 20+ OS during Nth Hemi Winter every other year) -- significant ankle / arch issues, as well as serious over-pronation, brought on by an over-ambitious attempt to lose weight via serious walking, in barefoot style shoes, in a concrete urban environment, where my enthusiasm WAY overshot my foot support and stretching regimen -- OH OH OH, ALSO!!! I am blessed to be endowed with the worst type of foot possible - US M Sz 10, 2E wide, broad forefoot, and REALLY high arches ...Ā MoreLet me preface this review by saying up front that these are the best arch support thongs i've ever worn, and the only reason they don't get a 5 star review, is going to be posted below.ME: on the wrong side of "young", overweight yet active (cycling, snowboarding 35+ days a season locally, 20+ OS during Nth Hemi Winter every other year) -- significant ankle / arch issues, as well as serious over-pronation, brought on by an over-ambitious attempt to lose weight via serious walking, in barefoot style shoes, in a concrete urban environment, where my enthusiasm WAY overshot my foot support and stretching regimen -- OH OH OH, ALSO!!! ESPECIALLY if i was in my flip flops after putting some healing cream on my heels / wearing them whilst washing the car / soap flying everywhere in the shower as my dog tries to escape my whilst I'm washing him in the shower -- blowouts were a real thing, most often either between the toes or otherwise on the outside of the footWHY ARE ARCHIES WORTH A LOOK? : 1) mold injected (i guess?) is always the best way to go, guarantees as much uniformity in integrity as possible / 2) like advertised, no blow outs (yet!!) / 3) wide enough to accommodate a 2E wide foot in a Sz 10US, in the standard Archies Sz 10 / 4) on the previous point, i have not worn any other arch support footwear EVER (flip flops, sandals, insoles, shoes -- Birkenstucks, heh) that fit my foot, provide the support and durability i need, and yet stay SO streamlined around the foot shape, without burdening you with excess foam in front of the toes / hanging out the back of your heel.GET THESE. THEY ARE GREAT. WHY NO 5 STAR? : these are the best arch support flip flops i've ever used. They deserve a 5 star. The reason they don't get that 5th star, is a good reason -- because these are the little brother to the slides -- the slides step it up a notch, in terms of "sticking to the foot" via the big strap over the forefoot, and due to their greater amount of material required to construct the slide vs. flip flop, the slides just feel more stable -- not just some arch support, but a more whole system of controlled foot movement and support -- 100% get both the flip flops and the slides, you won't regret "guinea pigging" yourself to decide which ones you'll stick to for the rest of your life!!Happy arch support hunting!!!

I ordered the Kelly green as soon as it became available. They are my 8th pair of the flip flops (plus I have 2 pairs of the slides). These thongs have become my new favourite footwear hands down and Archies saying that you never want to take them off is very true. In my case I don't want to wear anything else. I've given away or trashed all my old flip flops. The support is amazing and has helped relieve my arthritis pain and helped me walk more balanced. All the great colours are a nice bonus. keep them coming...

To be honest Iād heard how good they were but I was very skeptical. Iād previously always bought the very expensive arch support footwear and didnāt believe Archieās would live up to their reputation but my curiosity got the better of me so I took a leap of faith and bought one pairā¦well Iāve now got 5 pairs, all different colours to match whatever ensemble Iām wearing. Suffice to say they TOTALLY lived up to their reputation of being a fantastic thong. The rubber bit that goes between your toes doesnāt cut my skin like all the other rubber thongs, I donāt get cracked heals and most importantly the arch support has been brilliant in stopping my planta fascia from flaring up. They are absolutely brilliant, comfortable and very stylish.

Best comfortable support thongs I have ever owned . Like with any new footwear , you do need to only wear for short periods at a time at first , so the feet can adjust to newness of them . Like my Birkenstocks , they started to hurt my feet at first , until I got use to them . Best to wear them for short burst at first . You will know when it becomes uncomfortable. Donāt start off walking a marathon like I did on the first wear . That is how I know . The charcoal colour is very different, I like the colour . They look nice on . Very happy with them .
Living in Florida I wear sandals 85% of the year. It isn't easy finding any shoes especial flip flops that look good and give you proper support,I found that in Archies. I have purchased a few pair and will continue to purchase them as they come in so many colors. They also have great customer service, when I had an issue with a pair I received quick and friendly support. Not only do they provide great support in their footwear they give great support in their service department. I 100% recommend Archies.
I have always felt most comfortable in summer in flip flops, but know how stressful on my hyper mobile body that unsupportive footwear was. My osteopath banned me from wearing them this year. I was distraught and proceeded to hunt for an alternative. Faced with many unflattering but correct sandals, how excited was I to find these. I love them and more importantly so does my body, no more foot flattening and pain, no more rolled ankles and strained knees. A very good investment and even my osteopath is happy. Looking forward to many years of use.
I've had extreme pain from both plantar fasciitis and neuropathy since may 2022. It's only since I've worn these thongs for about 2 months that I can now walk for almost 3 hours and not even think about my feet. The arch support is spectacular, and the fact that my feet can function as they should is key. I found I could not wear shoes any more because they are all too restrictive and rigid and cramped. I tried barefoot shoes for months, but my feet were just too sore and plantar tendons kept getting stained, on top of the challenges to feet that are not used to walking bare foot. I still believe that barefoot is the only way to travel, but you do have to realise that your feet are conditioned for decades, half a century in my case, to shoes. I still believe that barefoot is the only way to travel, but you do have to realise that your feet are conditioned for decades, half a century in my case, to shoes. And this takes time, and if your feet are sore with either fasciitis or neuropathy, then it's best to realise they need some extra help to learn to walk again without pain. I've spent thousands on shoes and physio, podiatry and orthotics, tens machine, etc,etc....NONE OF IT WORKED. these incredible little thongs have changed my life from fear of being on my feet to 3 hour walks in the bush. Thank GOD, actually thank ARCHIES š š šIT DID TAKE A couple of months though, but SO WORTH IT. I want to also tell you that I've learned how to actually use the muscles in my legs how to support my feet, and how to support the arch. I do this by simply standing on one foot and shortening my foot. See YouTube on how to do short foot, long foot. You should also understand and be able to use your lower leg muscles to support your feet and arch strength. Over time, we get lazy and this is no good for feet. Our feet must carry our entire weight. If you want pain free feet you must understand this. And wear nothing but archies! All the best, Lyndsy
These flip flops are INCREDIBLE. Itās not often a product stands out above the rest, but these do. Not a gimmick - they are the REAL DEAL. I will never buy another brand again. Their comfort is unreal! Great for all uses: beach, water, around town, etc. The straps are tight at first, theyāre intended that way. Wear around the house, and watch videos on how to stretch them out. They will become PERFECT soon. Trust me. Enjoy!!
When I saw this new special edition, I ordered them immediately. They match a lot of my outfits because I love green as a color. Itās my third pair after black and taupe. I am waiting for red and gold as new colors. Those flip flops are the absolute best, giving good support to my slim feet. Having slim feet and buying flip flops or sandals is really demotivating. All the time your feet slip out to the front or to the side, which really hurts your toes and/or ankles. Not with Archies. I really am one of Archieās biggest fans.
This is my 2nd pair of Archieās flip flops as I bought a pair last summer and fancied a different colour for my forthcoming holiday. My original pair are still going strong and I have worn them to death. I use them as slippers in the summer months as well as going to the beach, on holiday and anywhere else you need flip flops. They are incredibly comfortable, arch support is brilliant and doesnāt fail after a period of use like some arch support footwear does.I love them so much I persuaded my Mum to buy a pair too this time and she is equally happy with hers. Safe, comfortable, stylish and hard-wearing. Thank you Archieās.
