3rd pair!
The black sliders were actually for my son after already buying a pair of flip flops & sliders for myself. I live in flip flops apart from a few winter months. Unfortunately I have developed a stiff big toe so was unsure of buying the flip flops. I shouldn’t have worried as they are fantastic & I am actually getting less trouble with my toe since wearing them. I decided to try a pair of sliders for my holidays and they have turned out to be just as fantastic. No aching feet & smart enough to wear out to eat. I chose Taupe for both & hope to add pink next time.I am generally a 5 & chose 5-5.5 which fit perfect. Having read the instructions I was ready for the strangeness of the arch support but it really only took a couple of days to bed them in & I never take them off.... Show more

Ahhhhmazing!
I have never owned a pair of slides. I recently broke my big toe and injured my whole foot so wearing shoes for the first couple of weeks was a no-go. I was told by my ortho specialist to start wearing shoes that are supportive of the whole foot. As my toe is still healing the thought of anything covering the toe was out of the question so I thought I'd buy some slides. These have been the best buy! They are so comfortable and take the strain off the rest of my foot whilst it's recovering. It has improved my gait and my natural pronation, plus they ease the discomfort of a small bunion. They look great too, very happy with the colour. I will be buying the thongs next as I am hooked on their supportive comfort. Great buy, very happy and would highly recommend.... Show more

Comfortable straight away
I was pleased when these slides arrived only 2 days after ordering them. It was difficult deciding between black and taupe but gave taupe a try and it is just as advertised. They are comfortable with no need fo break in. I have spent a bit of time here and there stretching the band a bit as I have wide feet a very high arches (so with styles like this it is not unusual to sometimes be a bit more tight there). I think I prefer this slide style compared to the other toe post flip flip - they seem to hug my feet better with the thick cross bands. I would give them five stars but for some reason my right foot still does not have the same level of great comfort as the left one in these. It may be because of my very high arches problem - I need as much arch support as I ... MoreI was pleased when these slides arrived only 2 days after ordering them. It may be because of my very high arches problem - I need as much arch support as I can get and my right foot is the one that usually suffers more from plantar fasciitis. I see that some reviewers think the arch support is too high, but for feet like mine it is the opposite and could be higher. It would be great to have 2 options with one offering higher arch support. I want to be able to wear these out and about more on hot summer days (just like in the ads for these!), not just in the house, garden and gym pool side or beach. The sole appears thicker than the flip flops which I think helps give more support. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase and aim to try them out for longer walks but will have trainers with my insoles in my bag in case they're needed.... Show more

Comfy? Slides vs thongs
Easiest comfiest slides ever! Fit your foot and dare I say arch? No breaking in just sensible wearing of new footwear, light on your feet and my feet look stylish. I’ve got the thongs and yes in black as well and have had them for years. Now finding that my bunions make it trickier to get into thongs but not my slides. Still very able to wear my thongs just need a bit more patience and sometimes when I’m on the go that’s in short supply. If you know me one pair of shoes is never enough, so bought the slides in taupe as well!! Service from Archies was amazing - mine arrived in two days and I had to size up with the whole return process taking three from start to delivery of the better size. Foot savers
I purchased these sandals to replace a certain "crocodile" sandal I wore around my house. (Inside house shoes). I have tile floors and walk with a pronation as well as have a high arch. My feet always need to be protected from hard surfaces. I cannot walk barefoot. I've always struggled with aching feet when I'm not wearing my medical-grade clogs to work. As a nurse, I lived in scrubs and clogs.I've recently retired and find myself at home not wearing supportive shoes and the crocodiles were just not cutting it. Then, I found Archies! Been wearing them since Christmas and let me say, life-changing. My foot pain is gone. I mean gone. They are so supportive and look so much better I must add. Make the move, your feet will thank you!... Show more

Incredible
I don’t know why it took me this long to purchase’s these. I had my eye on them for a while but so glad I finally pulled the trigger. My new go to shoes for well, everything! I prefer these over my walking sneakers. They really have helped my posture and alleviate pain/ numbness I was used to getting when I was simply walking for extended periods of time. I have slightly wide feet so it’s hard for me to find shoes that suit me. I don’t quite fit into “wide” style shoes but regular fit can be a hit or miss. I am normally a size 7 so that’s the size I went with. I wasn’t sure if these would be too tight but after walking in them for the first 10-20 minutes they molded into my feet perfectly. No weird pressure points. No digging into anything. Honestly the most ... MoreI don’t know why it took me this long to purchase’s these. Pain relief!
The guys at Archies were so helpful to me with this purchase. I’m on a disability pension & suffer peripheral neuropathy in my legs & feet & fibromyalgia. Because I’m still quite young, it’s hard to find comfortable shoes that are trendy. Anything suitable for my condition tend to look like pensioner shoes. These do NOT. And they work!I wear them all day around my house, because of my severe foot/leg pain. Finally I’ve found something to support my feet & legs & take the pressure off my back.It took over a week to get them really comfortable, but I persevered because I could tell they were going to be helpful. I wore them with thin socks for a couple of days to get them really cosy.I have the Archies thongs as well, which I love, but these are SO much more ... Perfect summer all-purpose shoe!
My literal only complaint was that when I took these on my beach vacation, they did hold onto some sand that tore up the top of my foot from walking in them, but I probably should've known better than to rely on just ONE pair of shoes for the entire vacation knowing I'd be on the beach. But I've worn these around my hometown for errands, out on date nights, and allllll around Aruba, and they were fantastic all around. Super comfy, matched with everything, and most importantly durable and cute at the same time. I could maybe have sized down (I used to be a 7.5, now I'm a true 8, and I bought the 8s in these. My mom is a 6.5 and got the 7 and also thought she could've sized down, but when I was out in the Aruba heat I was glad they weren't smaller) but don't regret ... I'll be back for more colors! These are a little expensive for my taste (I'm stuck in the mental 00s of sandals/flip flops costing at most $10 and being decent) so I'll build my collection slowly, but they are worth EVERY penny, so I will definitely be back, just at 1-2 pairs per year instead of playing my favorite fashion game of "omg let's get every color"... WORTH EVERY PENNY!
This is my fifth pair of Archie slides! My podiatrist recommended these shoes highly after I saw them on an Instagram ad and inquired. I originally ordered them because I have flat feet, which affects my ankles, and I have a hard time wearing any slides even the expensive top name brands. Nobody beats the quality, fit, and manufacturing of archie's! I wound up needing a partial knee replacement and spend 3 months out of work. Archies were the only shoes that I could comfortably wear after my surgery, given the amount of arch support they provided. My HSA also covered these! They are the best quality, the best made slides I've ever found. I absolutely recommend them no matter the cost, so does my foot doctor! They absolutely fit true to size. If you are a half size I ... If you are a half size I think I would size up, I am not. They also, because of the quality of the products, do take about a week to break in. Please don't try them on first day and write them off because they feel a little tight! Mine breaking after 2 days of wearing them around the house after work.... Show more

You will not regret
I kept seeing these advertised to me and though 'why are they so expensive for just that?' I searched a lot to try and find something comparable (that was cheaper), and it simply doesn't exist. I ended up deciding to get these because they are very low key branded (can't even see any brand with them on) and because they are just nice and neutral and go with anything (walking the dog to putting on a nice dress for dinner). I do NOT regret buying these and think they are totally worth the money. I am going to probably buy 2 more pairs because they are that good! I wear a size 7.5, but the 8 worked just fine. It isn't that hot here yet, so I could see your feet getting a tad sweaty in them, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Probably tied with comfort with my tevas, ...
