This revision is a great revision. This trucker hat has such a great look with the lower profile, which was hoped for and Arc'teryx delivered. That has always been what has turned me off to the trucker hat is that they are always sitting a mile off the top of my head, not so here with this hat. Absolutely love this hat. The best I’ve ever had. Light, well made, comfortable and looks good...until it fades.Only complaint, the color fades very quickly. The black is grayish and splotchy looking now and looks very worn on the front and brim material. Mesh side/back looks brand new. Not sure how the other colors fade, so might be unique to black (and like most noticeable), but would still recommend.

Please PLEASE make a hat for people with bigger heads. It’s super frustrating. Not a bad product-just gave a bad rating because it seems like Arc’teryx doesn’t realize there’s multiple head sizes.One size definitely doesn’t fit all 😂

I have SO many hats I’ve accumulated over the years and this is the first one that gets the fit and function correct. Very comfortable, sits upright and stays where it should, mesh material vents well, great view from within. Love it.
Wouldn't change a thing really except for the open mesh like lining that is on the inside of the hat. Goes for the curved brim trucker as well. It is quite irritating to the forehead the tighter you fit the hat to head on windy days. Go back to original foam like lining, something you'd want on your head all day while sweating, something smooth and comforting. This has a sandpaperish kind of texture that just doesn't lend itself to comfort on a long hot day.

I thought it was the old hat I bought with a structured front peak. It is not. There is not support just squishy neoprene type material. Bummer. I bought and sent them both back. :(
I have to cinch this thing beyond the smallest size in order to get it to sit snugly on my head. This means that the largest fit has to be for an actual giants head. What’s weirder, is that the crown is super shallow. So this hat was made for very wide but very shallow heads. Please show me a human with a head that is wider than it is long. Someone, anyone? Fit is garbage and from what I’ve read the other trucker hats also have a garbage revised fit. I am so sad about all of these revised hat fits. I have used the old Arc logo truckers to run hundreds and hundreds of miles in. All I want is a new hat and Arc has gone and revised all of the best hats and turned them into actual trash. Today, I am sad.
I love the shallower crown fit. So many trucker style hats are way to high for me. Also love the mesh fabric which is much softer if it touches your ears. Unfortunately the sweat band material is so scratchy I am hesitant to bring this as my only hat for a multi day back county trip because I feel it may be too much after multi days of continued use.
