Great Value Snow Pants

I bought a size "up" so I can slide them on over my clothing & I'm thoroughly pleased. Easy on - easy off. Highly water-resistant (unsure if they're truly water-proof) as advertised. Nice long lower leg zippers with a robust, full length, storm flap. Very good insulation, particularly if you layer effectively. In short, for the price, these pants are pretty hard to beat. I just wish they were manufactured somewhere other than China cuz I am no longer buying products from that country.

Hadn't skied in 35 years prior to recent MT trip. I certainly didn't want to spend high dollar for ski pants for a week trip. Turns out the cinchable waist, zip back boot fitters wind/water resistant is an honest description. Was 22 degrees and stiff wind day we skied. Upon taking a rest, I noticed the pants had built moisture from my own body, not from snow. Plenty of front pocket space. They're warm and will surely last multiple seasons without damage. Well worth the low cost for a 2-3 time a year beginner/intermediate skier. If slopes of Big Sky resort can be handled by these, the hills of where I live (mid Atlantic region) will have no problem in their comfort, adjustability, warmth and durability.

I bought these pants for a family ski trip. They were good quality, however, I found that the pants would easily sag off of my waist. And then, the elastic waist options were not very good at providing support. The waist size was fine but there really was not a good "belt" option to keep the pants at my waist. So, I had to buy a set of suspenders (about $16) at the local ski shop which helped a great deal.If you buy these pants, consider adding on a pair of suspenders.....or get a full bib with the suspenders built into the pants.

1 April 2021

I was planning a one day ski trip when I found out my old but real nice Columbia ski pants had shrunk. I ordered these inexpensive one to get me through. It was right at the end of the season so will have to wait until next year to find out how durable they will be. While material seems less quality than Columbia, that is to be expected with price so much less too. Have similar features with boot zips, pockets and lift ticket loop. They still look new, but thankfully after a whole day of skiing, I spent virtually no time down on the snow either.

15 December 2019

Let's start off with the fact that I paid $22 for these. Not a bad price for something that will keep you warm in the snow. But check out my pictures of how large these pants fit my average physique at 5 foot 11. I mean the pant cuffs are ridiculously wide, Bellbottom style from the 70s. There's really no need for this extra fabric down here unless you're wearing ginormous boots. It's ridiculous. The large size is a little wide for my 34 inch waist but that's better than it being too tight. Luckily there are adjustable straps on the waist and the hip and crotch area it's a decent fit. It's really the bottom of the pants, the cuffs, that are my biggest complaint. Why are these so large? It's not Amazon s fault. I'd recommend the purchase for the price, but expect extra large cuffs and be open to the idea of tailoring.

Ridiculously short installation, not good quality.
31 August 2024

Received with missing stitching around belt holders, fly clasps out of alignment. The inseam is ridiculously short, do not buy if you are regular size. The internal lining tore after one day on snow so not good quality.

These snow pants were excellent.
11 February 2020

These snow pants were excellent. Built very well, no leaks, love the zippered pockets and the part that lets you tuck them in and layer them into your boots. They were very warm and very comfortable. Great lining inside. My only objection was that if you plan to wear bulky clothes such as jeans or thick pants Underneath these snow pants, you need to order them a size bigger than you think. I ordered my size based on the size of my regular pants. So they fit great, but not if I wanted to wear jeans underneath. I ended up only being able to wear a pair of cotton basketball shorts. This was OK for me because it was a warm day and the lining is warm enough for me. But beware if you plan on layering that the sizes are like you would buy a pair regular pants. 9 February 2020

They were a little small for me so they weren't super comfortable but they got the job done keeping me warm. I bought the "men" version even tho I'm female because these were identical to the womens product (I know because I ordered the womens version first and had to return after not fitting) except they were cheaper. The womens listing wanted double the price for 1 more size up where this listing only wanted 3 more dollars for next size up. Took me 3 times to get the size right which isnt normal and even then not a perfect fit. I'm sure next time I'm up in the snow next year tho that they will fit perfectly then! Kept me warm and dry tho I did sweat in them but it was warmer than expected. Sometimes I was hip deep in snow yet I managed to stay dry and warm. I was only able to sit on the snow for a minute before I started to get chilly. Temp ranged from 28 to 45.

Tore after 3-4 days of use.Not going to lie, for the price these are the best value ski/snow pants you're going to get on this site. They work, and they work well. I stayed warm and no water got into my pants. However on the 4th day of using them (for skiing/snowboarding) they lost one of the buttons on the fly. No worries, there's another button and some Velcro. Over the next day or two it wouldn't stay shut, and the front part of the waistband that included the button started coming off. By the fifth day, there was a tear in the crotch as well.I believe these are because the fit of the pants unnecessarily constricts at the waist and in the seat, and snow sports, especially snowboarding, put a lot of stress on the seams in those areas. These are great for a first-time snow sporters, who aren't sure if skiing or snowboarding are for them yet, but I wouldn't use these long term because they're not very durable.

When I ordered these pants,
2 January 2021

When I ordered these pants, I was leery because of all the reviews about sizing issues. However, I found these pants fit extremely well. Let me start by saying that I'm a small guy - 5'6", 125 lbs; I have a 29 inch inseam and and 29 inch waist (my actual measurements, not what pant sizes say). I'm the guy who can never find something to fit correctly because clothing manufacturers size everything up a bit. Size small for these pants is actually a 30 inch waist and the short inseam is actually 30 inches. I can't speak for people who need large through multiple XL, but I'm guessing that if you have a tape and actually measure yourself, you will be able to order the size that fits you.As for the warmth of the product, I was out for two hours on the initial wear, and ... MoreWhen I ordered these pants, I was leery because of all the reviews about sizing issues. If you plan on prolonged contact with the snow itself (kneeling in it to build a snowman, or making snow angels) the insulation in the pants isn't as great. However, at the price point of 40 bucks, I don't believe you can expect them to perform like a $200 pair of pants. I have not worn them enough to see how well they will hold up over time, but if they last a winter of shoveling and playing in the snow, they're worth the money spent. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
