your better off just buying it separate; the components cost no way near the cost of the kit also the manual isn't that great, it could easily be compiled online. but to be fair it might be good for your child to get them started. my main reason for a bad review is that there were resistors missing and when I emailed the store to get them sent out they gave me no reply whatsoever. this is very poor of you guys!

The Arduino Uno R3 is satisfactory in my opinion. Although some of the rows and some of the columns in the breadboard does not work. I crosschecked many times if I made any mistakes in connecting wires to the breadboard and there isn't any faults on my side. Is there any solution to fix/replace the breadboard?

Fast delivery, kit arrived complete and without any damage. Tutorials are detailed and easy to understand. The bridge wire colors are a bit confusing, as they are colored by lenght and the colors in the book are funktional. Bookmarks for important data like resistor colors code table would be a nice improvement. It ist really fun👍

Everything is so professional and delicate with every detail and mindfulness on the learning.The only disappointing part was that the Portuguese translation is somewhat bad. It feels, sometimes, that I'm reading a Google translation from the English version which is underwhelming.

Product appears to be returned by customer

I bought this at Helsinki, store. Having opened the lcd box I see the dust on the tap and tap was not stuck on the LCD. Also the box containing LEDs, sensor etc gives an indication from the plastic bag that it may have been returned by customer and they resold it as new box pack. You can clearly see the sign of another old staple where I point the pen.The quality of the components also seem not very good considering the price. Apart from this, the entire box where individual component are boxed are all in low quality paper. I suppose adruino should provide the main plastic box atleast being a signature company since elegoo and many others do provide the plastic box to house the components.I have not used it so far will update more on how it goes. There are probably better kits around

The good: There 's a decent variety of parts in the box to play around with programming and electronics. I like that the book teaches both together and makes people understand what's happening in their circuits.The bad:It's great that someone assembled a starter kit. It would be even better if it was a quality product. The jumper wires, especially the ones on the battery connector frequently fall out of the breadboard as they don't have proper connectors. The potentiometer is too big to comfortably fit on one side of the breadboard. The baseplate is cut in an ad-hoc way, only a few millimeters of care would result in the Arduino to fit on it much better. I'm also missing a proper catalog of what parts are in the box. I find it a somewhat unfortunate decision that the kit supports a 9V battery when most households have stuff that runs on AA or AAA ones, so a couple of those would be easier to come by without having to go to a shop.On to software, the Arduino IDE provided by arduino.cc is something I would hide from everyone if I want them to learn programming, it's a bad excuse for even a text editor. Go and grab Eclipse and the Sloeber product or VSCode (haven't tried the latter).To build things a little more complicated than the very simple examples in the book, you will also need a bigger breadboard.
