Arena 2a898 Powerskin ST 2.0 - Open Back - Black, 28
The Powerskin ST 2.0 marks the next generation in one of arena's longest-standing range of racing suits. Building on the original ST's proven legacy, the 2.0 makes a leap in terms of technology, performance, comfort, and durability, while still retaining the ST's hallmark value-for-money appeal. Manufactured with 3 hi-tech knitted fabrics for improved functionality and resilience, the ST 2.0's new design boosts core support and compression and enhances comfort through ergonomic seam placement and reinforced shoulder strap construction, elevating overall performance to a new level when it matters most. With a new ergonomic construction for enhanced core support, body lift, stability, and comfort, the arena Powerskin ST 2.0 suit helps swimmers keep optimum shape in the water. The extra reinforced shoulder strap enhances upper back comfort and durability, while the flatlock seams give the suit its 'perfect fit' feel. The fabrics are chlorine resistant and provide protection against ultraviolet rays (50+ UPF). A new lining, incorporated into the top front of the suit and extending down the back of the leg provides greater muscle compression for targeted areas and improves core and leg support. For over 40 years, arena has been developing cutting-edge racing swimwear built on a foundation of in-depth research, technical know-how and an unyielding commitment to quality, achieving the best combination of performance, comfort and durability. Since 2000, the brand's top-of-the-range Powerskin family of suits has constantly set the benchmark for high performance swimwear for all levels of competitions. Available for both adults and youth, the ST 2.0 brings the technology of champions to all swimmers.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. Sheās 5ā tall and 96 lbs. We bought a womenās size 22 and it was perfect. It wasnāt too tight to where it limited her movement, but was compressing like it should be. There was no puckering at the top of the suit above the chest when she put her arms in a streamline position. There was no gap around the sides on the back where the opening is. She tried on 3 brands of 12 & under compliant kneeskin tech suits. The Arena was by far the most comfortable. The Speedo Vanquisher was comfortable everywhere except her legs where the leg openings are. They were too tight and no rubber grippers at the bottom. The TYR Thresher was comfortable except for the straps. They were the worst out of all of them that she tried on and there was ...Ā MoreI bought this for my 10 year old daughter. The TYR Thresher was comfortable except for the straps. They were the worst out of all of them that she tried on and there was a little gap around the sides on the back where the opening is. She was able to put the Arena suit on by herself in about 10 minutes. Be sure to rinse the suit with cold water after each use and let it air dry on a flat surface. Surprisingly, the suit took a while to dry completely. Be sure to clip your nails and use the pads of your fingers when moving the fabric up, not your fingertips. We were in a time crunch and did the overnight shipping. It was delivered the next day as promised. My daughter dropped 11 seconds in her 200 IM, 3 seconds in her 100 back, 2 seconds in her 100 free, 1 second in her 50 free and 1 second in her 100 breast. Not sure if it was a mental thing or the tech suit or both. Either way, she dropped time.

My daughter needed a techsuit for competitions and we immediately looked at arena. Solid quality and a good entry price point (and 30$ less than everywhere else. So far itās holding up well. Be sure to order your size based on measurements. She wears a 32 in their team suit, but a 26 in the techsuit.

I purchased this suit for my 13 year old daughter to wear at a championship meet. She shaved time in all her events. Iām not sure if it was the suit or just her hard work. But she said the suit was comfortable. We sized down two sizes. She normally wears a 28 and we bought a tech suit size 24. Great first tech suit purchase for her. Arena is our preferred swim suit brand.

Just got this suit for our 13YO for her championships last weekend, she wore it to practice a couple times to get used to it and was comfortable for a busy all-day meet. Good range of motion in all four strokes (sheās an IM and breaststroker), no chafing, and she can manage getting the suit on independently. We bought one size big from the measurements on the chart because sheās actively growing and thatās about right. Overall one of the better suits sheās had.
Bought it for my daughter who does competitive swimming. Itās absolutely amazing holding in her larger bust and comfortable. The only down side is the sizing - when I measured my daughter, according to the size guide she was at the top of size 2) so we ordered 28 and she couldnāt even pull it through her legs (sheās UK size 10). We ended up ordering size 36 which fits well (itās still a challenge to put it on as it should be for this type of swimwear).
Love this tech suit. Got one years ago bright turquoise. The navy with red stitching looks great. The lines from the seams are flattering accentuating your waist and leg length. I tried another brand tech suit but had to return it do to fit as the body was too long. Iām a bit on the short waisted side and Arena suits work great for me. Iām 5ā6ā and 130 lbs. I got size 30 and am like the fit but know I should have gotten the 29 since tech suits should be significantly tighter
My daughter really loved the color (royal/aqua blue) and wanted this suit to work out for a big meet for which she needed to cut time. I loved the discounted price and quality of the suit and was hopeful for a good fit as Iāve seen several swimmers with the same suit at various meets. When I saw the item on Swim Outlet, I decided to give it a try based on the cost and reviews. My swimmer is 11 yrs. old 5ā2ā..97lbs with a strong, lean build. Unfortunately, the Arena Powerskin size 22 was too big. Her normal practice suits are size 24 or 26. I noted that it only took her 10 minutes to get it on with no assistance. Typically putting on a new tech suit presents a challenge taking a minimum of 30+ minutes to carefully squeeze into with help. Typically putting on a new tech suit presents a challenge taking a minimum of 30+ minutes to carefully squeeze into with help. It should feel snug to provide the needed amount of compression, but it was not. So, though the suit was nice looking, we returned it. I recommend going 2-3 sizes down for a better fit. We wonāt be purchasing this particular suit again until my daughter grows a bit as the smallest size currently available is a 22. Luckily, as a backup, we also ordered a slightly less expensive tech suit in a size 22-Speedo PowerPlus Kneeskin. It was perfect (tight, but not too tight) and she cut time in every event over a three day meet.
I'm 5'6", so following the measurement chart I ordered a size 26. I think the fit is as Arena advertises it. It takes me less than 10 minutes to get on, so if you believe a tech suit should take more time to put on then you should get a size smaller than what is recommended. If I were to buy another one of these I'd probably order a 24 for more compression. Overall, I think this suit feels pretty durable. The first time I tried putting it on I heard the seams crack a bit, but it doesn't seem to be breaking the suit. I can see the water being repelled, and the legs of the suit have nice compression. The back is cut rather low as other reviews have said, but it didn't cause that big of a problem for me -- I just had to make sure to hike it up before my races.I swam ...Ā MoreI'm 5'6", so following the measurement chart I ordered a size 26. It felt like the leg compression lessened the muscle fatigue from the 500, and breaststroke kicking felt normal. My only complaint would be that I ordered a navy suit but the color looks lighter than what the pictures show. In the end, the color doesn't matter as long as the suit does its job, and I think this suit accomplished that.
Daughter gives it a 10. We bought many short-john kneeskins from a different manufacturer but could not find them anymore. This was an excellent replacement. We would definitely recommend this suit. Affordable too for parents which is always a plus.
purchased for my daughter's final club swim meet. it is a nice looking suit. we got it about a month ago and it does have the FINA approved patch on the back. she wa able to get it on in about 8-10 minutes. (we did watch a few YOUTUBE videos which helped.) while we have only used once we have no complaints and after carefully putting on and taking off we have every reason to think it will last through high school swim season. she typically wears a size 6 and is 34C. regular 32 in SPEEDO, ARENA, UGGLIES. we sized down to a 28 and she was pleased with the comfort and performance.
