A bit heavy

These are nice fins but a bit on the heavy side compared to the Sporti brand. The Sporti brand of silicone fins are no longer offered, which is disappointing because they were smooth, good quality and lighter than the Arena brand. I hope SwimOutlet brings back their Sporti silicone floating fins.

Very comfortable and light product. Perfect for muscle and cardio work. Efficient design. The materials look good quality, we will see in time. Just a slight delay of two days on delivery.

Men's Sizing
26 November 2024

Be cautious on sizing. It was men's sizing and I had to return. Not only you have $12.99 shipping fee, but returns are to be paid too!I will avoid ordering through swim outlet in the future unless they change their shipping / returns policies.

Not comfortable at all, poor sizing
27 January 2021

These are super heavy and the ridge at the front of the foot pad is so pronounced it is uncomfortable. I'm a size 11 and my feet are forced too far forward. Also the rubber is really not pliable. We threw them out in Hawaii after one try.

See why they call them powerfins. Arena is the best at it!

The Arena Powerfins are excelent! They fit snug and they are not flimsy like 'little kids fins' often are. My 13 year old loves them.

These are definitely improving my kick! Mine for great—but my feet are a half size, so using one half size down, I don’t need the socks or anything.

Training Fins Were Wrong Size and Weight - My Fault
13 September 2023

I am new to using swim gear, and I don't see anything wrong with the construction. I swim laps for 6,000 yards each week. Had they fit my needs, I have no doubt they would meet my expectations. In my situation they were too heavy and were not long enough and wide enough for a sufficient flapping surface area. Now I know what "training fins" mean.SwimOutlet made the return very easy.

ok but...

My interest is in training fins to help me develop my underwater dolphin kick, so these comments may not help you surface swimmers out there. I started with second-hand Speedo biofuse fins which were very powerful and noticeably developed my quads. However, they started to split, and the newer ones come in a smaller selection of sizes which are either too big or too small for me. After trying several other brands I settled on Maru which are super comfortable with a good range of sizes and non-chafing, but maybe not as powerful as the Speedos due to their flexibility. I hoped these Arena fins would be stiffer in the fin area which they are, but they are a looser fit with sharper edges around the toes and give noticeably less thrust on the up-kick probably due to the ... MoreMy interest is in training fins to help me develop my underwater dolphin kick, so these comments may not help you surface swimmers out there.
