Mod Vanilla taks the creamy & sweet base of Cloud 2.0, coupled with the powdered florals & plum from Moonlight - so if you enjoy those fragrances, you'll most likely enjoy this too. Cloud 2.0 is my favourite Ariana Grande perfume and I also enjoyed Moonlight scent-wise, so I do enjoy Mod Vanilla on one hand, but I'm also a bit disappointed by the lack of originality here. Okay, band aid off; the Mod duos are only available in 100ml bottles costing £53 each, so there has been a price increase coupled with less purchase options. The ideal scenario is that you are meant to buy both perfumes for layering together, so we definitely need smaller & less pricey options for purchasing them - and duo pack options too....

I truly recommend this too any age Group of people who are looking for a sweet scent, it's not only my fav ari perfume but it's turning out too be my favorite perfume I own.

Let me clear up some of the odd reviews. Yes, everyone's nose is different but here is my take. For starters, it does not smell like Cloud. Similar base notes yes, but no - it's not Cloud. Yes, it is sweet. Yes, it IS reminiscent of Sweet Like Candy, however - the passionfruit note is what really steps the game up here with this fragrance. It's classy, more grown up and sophisicated for a fruity scent. It is not overly floral, it's rather juicy and dries to a nice soft vanila skin scent. No, in my opinion, it is not a sharp scent. Some people may compare it to Bombhshell by VS, because of the passionfruit note - but it is not so alike because of the sweeter characteristics this has. Bombshell is fresh, whereas this Mod Blush is fresh/sweet.

I spray perfume on the inside of my elbows before I go to bed. I like to do it with my new perfumes most of the time to get an idea of what it dries down to. When I first spray it it smells wonderful. Fruity & sweet with a bit of flower. After about 20 minutes I could only smell fresh menthol cigarettes, as soon as you open a pack it's the whiff. I quit smoking years ago but I'll never forget that scent. I hoped that when I woke up it'd shift into something more pleasant for me but it didn't. The next day, after showering I used God Is A Woman & again I sprayed it into my elbows, went to work at 9 & was about to take a lunch when I wanted to make a coworker smell GIAW when I noticed I could Still smell some of this stuff. This smells like god is a women with more vanilla + plum instead of rose. I personally like this more than giw. I wasn't a fan of the way the orris root smelled with the rose in giw. But this one is so cozy! It has the praline from cloud and the orris root from giw. But the way they paired it with the deep plum, cocoa butter, and musk is so beautiful. Sweet but more mature sweet. Not heavy. I like more airy scents. Definitely recommend as an everyday wear especially in the colder months. I can't stop smelling myself and getting compliments at work! I think if you like cloud and the orris root from giw you will love this! To me is smells very different than cloud so I'm fine owning both. I'll admit that I didn't go into this with super high expectations. I read a TON of reviews that favored Mod Vanilla, so imagine how surprised I was when this ended up being my favorite out of the Mod duo!! Mod Blush starts off very citrusy and fruity; the bergamot and passion fruit are both very detectable, and they stay prominent through the perfume's lifespan. Very shortly after, the rose and pear join in, and that's when it becomes heavenly to me. I normally don't like rose in fragrances at ALL!! But the rose here is so subtle, smooth and gentle... the way it mixes with the pear is simply divine. When it's fully dried down, you can definitely smell the musk, woody notes and ambroxan. To me, Mod Vanilla is a mixture of Cloud and Sweet Like Candy, with a hint of a tropical & powdery vibe that makes it wearable all year round... which is perfectly fine! But not something I'd say I need in my collection, considering that Cloud is much longer lasting and a fragrance that I already own. (Mod Vanilla only lasts for around 4 hours on me.) The two Mod perfumes are very different, but there's definitely something in both of them that makes them feel like sisters, so it makes sense that they were released together! Mod Vanilla is a very powdery vanilla, while Mod Blush is a fruity rose. Both are year-round for me, but I definitely prefer Mod Blush, since it both lasts longer and managed to pull off a rose note in a way that I truly love!! In a weird way, Mod Blush is almost what I initially expected Thank U Next to smell like, if that makes sense. In conclusion, if you want a fun citrusy/fruity rose perfume, go with Mod Blush! If you don't have Cloud or Sweet Like Candy and want a powdery vanilla perfume in your collection, go with Mod Vanilla! That's all I have to say for now.

This came in earlier than expected. I bought it with not knowing the smell or anything so basically it was a blind purchase. When I tell you that THIS perfume HAS to be her best.. I MEAN IT! The smell is much different than her other fragrances, it's more mature and more powerful smelling, very feminine type. The box reminds me of the thank u, next perfume. The fact this fragrance lasts long is AMAZING because her other perfumes don't last on me at all. I haven't smelled the Vanilla one so I can't say anything about it. I am a gourmand lover. I love sweet everything. I find a lot of floral fragrances give me an instant migraine. I havent found the perfect spring and summer scent..scents... until now. If you sound like me and you do not typically go for notes like rose and pink pepper (two notes I avoid like the plague), I still urge you to test this perfume in store for yourself. From the initial marketing I was certain I wouldn't have interest in Mod Blush, only Mod Vanilla. Boy, was I wrong! Mod Vanilla is alright and Blush is INCREDIBLE.
