I bought these exact pair 6 months ago. And last week I bought a second pair, because they're my favorite and I find myself washing them all the time. The "R.E.A.L. Mid Rise Whipstitch Boot Cut Jean." I bought a size 29 extra-long. I wear a size 8 jeans (8's are not super tight on me - and 7's are a little too tight on me). I am 5' 11 1/2" and 140 LBS. I am built long and lean but I still have a booty. I like that the mid-rise does not look "mom-pants" at all, but it's not so low like the low-rise that I constantly fight them to not slide down where you can see my undies or booty when I bend over. They hang just right on my hips so i never have to wear a belt, and don't have to pull my pants up all the time. The hems are long enough that if I wear Vans slip-on shoes, the pants drag on the ground, and when I wear boots, they barely don't touch the ground so they never get worn-out on the edges when I wear boots. My favorite boots are work-man square-toed boots - so it's not a significant heal. The material is thick like it was chosen by and put together by an American factory manager/owner in an America factory. Not that cheap, stretchy-thin garbage they use for jeans now. However there is some give to these jeans. Just the right amount. Very sturdy jeans. And they must pre-wash them, because the legs did not shorten at all after the first wash - and I washed them on hot and dried them on hot. These jeans also have a flattering silhouette. They are by far my favorite jeans.

These jeans are super comfortable, and they have lasted me a long time as well. Stains come out easy, and they fit well over long johns. They are just the perfect work jeans, casual jeans, everyday jeans for any occasion. This item is good for beginners and experts. I would recommend this pair of pants to anyone. They also look really cute with stylish outfits. Can’t wait to buy more Ariat jeans. Best jeans ever made.

I ordered a BUNCH of different pairs with different waist sizes, since I’d never ordered from Ariat before and you just never know. I like my jeans VERY comfortable/not tight. I am 5’9 and a muscular 155 lbs, and wear a size 12 to have a loose waist and general loose-ish fit. I have a 31” waist, so I ordered a couple 31”, a couple 32” and a 33” pair in longs. I ended up keeping one of the 32” (didn’t love the look of the trouser jeans, so they went back) AND the 33” because the 32” fit very comfortably, and look just a little looser than the model’s. The 33” jeans are too big, which I LOVE - I just throw a stretchy belt on to keep them from sliding off my hips and they hang just all kinds of comfy on me; I’ve been wearing them all day and I am IN LOVE. Both pairs are just a hair too long (the 33” even more so since they hang lower due to their larger size), but that’s because I need a 34” inseam, which they don’t sell. These jeans are totally worth it for how well they’re made. They are cheaper than my previous favorite brand, so I’m thrilled. I found my favorite new jeans company!!! I just ordered another pair of 33” in a different style - I do a LOT of lounging in my new fave jeans and I want a backup for when the other pair is being washed. WOOHOO!

I never wore jeans until I bought these. To me, jeans were so uncomfortable and stiff and I couldn't move in them at all. I'm 5'10 and athletically built so it's hard finding pants that are nice, long, room for my butt but also fit around my waist. I always have to go up in sizes to get the length I need but the waist also increases and it's just all around too big. So I've stuck with leggings, shorts and sweat pants my whole life. I decided I needed to grow up and have a pair of jeans, even if I didn't love them I at least could not be a weirdo and not have any denim in my closet. Also, working around horses, my leggings would get snagged on buckets, fences, and stall doors, and they didn't hold up very well to that. So I read the reviews on these jeans and said ... MoreI never wore jeans until I bought these. To me, jeans were so uncomfortable and stiff and I couldn't move in them at all. Also, working around horses, my leggings would get snagged on buckets, fences, and stall doors, and they didn't hold up very well to that. So I read the reviews on these jeans and said why not. IM SO GLAD I GOT THEM THEY ARE MY FAVORITE PAIR OF PANTS AND THEY BEAT OUT MY FAVE LEGGINGS. My legs look so good and the fit perfectly around my waist and ARE LONG ENOUGH. They are so stretchy but also sturdy. I always get compliments. These puppies will last forever so 100% recommend them to anyone with legs who wants some pants. For reference, I got the 30" XL and had my grandmother hem them because they were too long, which has never happened! I also still wear a belt with these so for future purchases I will probably order 29" L.
These jeans are very true to waist size and don’t get baggy throughout the day. Quality material. Only drawback is a little too much stretch to be a daily work Jean. I wear a 26, but I have muscular thighs and I own a horse farm. The material holds up to abrasion (feeding and moving hay bales, rubbing against barn stuff), but the area at the top of the thigh/crotch seam does show some puckering of losing the stretch after working and washing a few times. Not as fast as some brands, but it still happens. Overall nice jeans, just wish the stretch was a little less to prevent stretching out in this area.
I had searched everywhere for jeans that fit well and looked good but had just about given up until my husband and I were at Rural King looking for some tools he needed and I discovered Ariat jeans. The quality is exceptional and the style is perfect for everyday wear yet can also be dressed up. I like the variety of styles that Ariat offers and bought several different pairs.
Working in the horse industry, I have tried almost every brand of western jean there is. What I have learned is that no brand can compete with Ariat in terms of comfort, fit, and durability. What I appreciate most about Ariat's jeans(and why I keep coming back to them) is the consistency in sizing. I have tried jeans from other brands and may wear several different sizes in different styles. I feel confident buying Ariats without trying them on because I know that my size is going to be the same in every style.
I switched to Ariat jeans about three years ago and haven’t stopped wearing them! By now I have five different pairs and fully plan on purchasing more. They all have a different yet similar fit, perfect for anyone. Amazing riding jeans, have the right about of stretch along with durability. I do a lot of horseback riding which is what made me buy my first pair. You won’t see my riding in any other jeans. If you want a good all around pair of jeans that holds up to everything you throw at it while also giving you the option to dress them up too, then definitely snag you up a pair! Very comfortable and versatile jeans. Have nothing bad to say about them, my first pair still looks new even after a dozen washes!
I originally ordered a 31" Long and it was way too large and long for me. i'm 5'7" for reference. i re ordered a 30" Regular and these are perfect. perfect length, perfect fit, flattering even though i have a belly. i love the color and the stitching. not too tight, stretches perfectly but still thick and durable, and perfectly tight around my butt. love these. can't wait to wear them out
I ordered these in short and they are longer than pairs I have in standard length. The "bootcut" on these is also giant. It fits more like a wide leg than a bootcut. I am returning these. I have been really disappointed with the lack of consistency and quality control with Ariat clothing the last 2 years.
