I'd gotten away from the classic Arizona style in the past few years, and these shoes are a good reminder of why I loved them in the first place. They're comfortable straight out of the box and they look adorable. I have Morton's neuromas in both feet and I also have uncooperative arches. I can stand and walk all day long at school without problems in Birks. I like the gold color with the big buckle. They're slightly snazzier than my usual brown leather. The gold and the buckles kick it up a notch.

Have not worn Birkenstocks in many years but wanted to give them another try. I read on Google that you have to start by wearing them an hour a day and increase the time for the next two weeks where they will feel comfortable as they form to your feet and your feet get used to them. So, it took about three weeks but they are oh, so very comfortable and supportive now that I went out and bought a second pair! They always look great with a pair of flared or bell bottom jeans or jean shorts. Very happy with them and I have noticed that my lower back does not hurt as often since I started wearing them.

These Birkenstocks were the only thing my 21 year old wanted for his birthday, and I was thrilled that Dicks offered the shoes with fast shipping. The shoes are great and arrived on time. However, the box was so torn up that it fell apart when taking it out of the package. It’s a bummer because my kid keeps all of his shoes in their original boxes. I’ll still shop at Dicks, this is the first “negative” experience I’ve had.

I have a high arch and was suffering from plantar fasciitis and haglund's deformity (aka pump bump) before I switched to wearing Birkenstocks 99% of the time. The narrow Arizona fits like a glove. It took about 3 days to get used to the harder sole, but once I did, all was well. I have a couple of other styles that I switch out with, but my feet prefer the Arizona. I usually replace every 5-6 months, but keep in mind that I wear these shoes from the time I get up until it is time for bed, almost every single day.
It’s been awhile since I’ve owned a pair of Birkenstocks. This shoe purchase was sort of like seeing an old, beloved friend after many years apart. A few things have changed, like the synthetic straps, but still a versatile and classic sandal.Interesting that the women’s & mens are identical, I picked my pair from the men’s area because the women’s didn’t have the color I wanted in size 41. So just a tip, if you can’t find your size or color, check the other department !Lastly come on DSW, start including these in your promotions at least “in store only” or once per year…geesh, don’t be so cheap.
Bought these online forgetting that DSW only sells narrow Birkenstocks online. Whomp whomp. The description says medium width, but the sandal box notes narrow, and they are definitely a narrow fit. My feet are average, and my heels were spilling over the heel cup. Returning these and purchasing from the Birkenstock store because DSW doesn’t sell my desired color (copper) in store in a regular/wide width. Hoping I remember next year and don’t make the same mistake a 3rd time, lol! Definitely a beautiful sandal if you have a narrow foot! Super recommend. I’m on my 3rd pair of the regular/wide fit, and I love them.
I have several pairs of Birkenstocks and have worn them for years. This was the first pair for my husband - a podiatrist recommended them because he has problems with his feet. He has tried them - but never gave them time to 'break in' - the podiatrist told him to give them at least a week. He did and he loves them. Wears them every day when he's not in recommended sport shoes. I'm sure he'll get a second pair because they are so comfortable and help with his foot issues.
I've owned several birkenstocks, and i can tell right away that these are counterfeits ( I bought different styles)1st, once i got them, the odor was so pungent that it was coming straight from the shoeboxes, and not a leather smell, straight strong chemicals.2nd, the inspection, I believe if these were someones 1st pair, they would think these are real, but they are not! I comparison to my other real birkenstock. The seam is not flush with the foot sole but place over. Also, my real ones: you do not see any adhesive. On these fakes, the glue is dripping. Then, finally, the bottom traction in comparison to the real birkenstock these are thiner, and the design is different. So, DO NOT BUY!!! Since out of frustration, I quickly returned them right away. I would give zero stars if it were an option. I am very upset! There was only one pair of these shoes in a size 4 (35)which is what I needed. I ordered it. I get updates on shipment/tracking. I needed these for a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. I was excited when I found them because I searched many other stores and no one had them in the size I needed. Also excited when they came in the mail. I opened them only to find that they sent me a size 9 (40). UGH!! I call to see what the problem was and I can't get anyone that speaks fluent English. UGH again!! Then I found out they no longer have any in a 4, which is why I quickly ordered these in the first place when I found them. Now I want to cry. I have been trying to "wear them in" for months now to no avail. Most uncomfortable sandals I've owned, and for the astronomical price, sorry they should feel comfortable! The soles are like walking on plastic boards. I don't understand the popularity of these. My feet literally hurt after wearing these.They fit my wide feet as they have adjustable straps and they're made well, if only they felt okay😔
