Despite being “vegan” sandals, there is no discernible difference with leather straps. I did have to replace the “46” sized shoes as although I am a standard 11 ( UK), which is normally a 46, I had to size down to a 45. Moulded sole is comfy but does take a week to “bed in”,
I’ve loved Birks for over 30 years (yikes). And when I couldn’t get a size and colour I wanted I opted for vegan leather. And have to admit, they’re pretty freakin awesome. As good, if not better, than the originals. And as ever, love your service Pat Menzies!
Be aware, these are not made from real leather.The current model is Vegan, the upper made from microfiber material and not real leather.
