Arkham Horror LCG Murder at The Excelsior Hotel
Who will prove themselves to be the greatest inventor at the Science Fair? The sharpest minds of the generation are gathering together at the Great Science Fair. In the end, only one will walk away with the blue ribbon. Who will prove that they’re the best, showing that they can think fast and efficiently build their machines? Only one contestant will rise to the top. In Gizmos, players take on the role of contestants in the Great Science Fair. They will pluck energy marbles from the innovative plastic Energy Dispenser and use them to construct new Gizmos, adding them to their machines. Players will have to plan ahead as they build, since Gizmos can chain-react off of one-another. As more Gizmos are added, more reactions can trigger, creating some truly epic turns. In the end, the player with the most Victory Points is declared the winner.

Fun addition as a side mission works in most arkham games maybe not for the Antarctica one.Has multiple paths leading to decent replay ablity

Excelsior pulls off what the best side-quests do--it sucks you in and makes you want to tackle it again rather than beating it once and then ignoring it after. It has a fun little story that can easily be played independently or as part of a bigger campaign, and it features a lot of choices and outcomes. It definitely has a very "Choose your own adventure" feel, where you're presented with different options and have to pick which way you'll proceed. It also has a ton of different final scenarios that will keep things different through multiple playthroughs even after you've exhausted the more black-and-white choices along the way. Also, the end legit made me smile the first time I reached it.

I can't get enough of Arkham LCG and I do my best to get any new scenarios that come out. This is another solid entry to a great catalog of content. It increases the playtime and has a nice story. Quality is consistent with other products in the Arkham LCG line.

Great price for this fun scenario pack!
Haven't played it yet
This game is a Christmas present for my son. He will be very happy to receive it.
Stand-Aline’s are my favorite - they are like movies. You can sit down and have a great experience in an hour or two. You don’t need to commit yourself to a long campaign or a hefty price tag. Look for any of the scenario packs. This one is especially thrilling. Highly recommend for those who have the base game and are iffy about expanding.
Worth buying
First standalone scenario I've played and it's a really fun story. Really opened my eyes on what can be done with this system. There's a lot of variation here where you can play a few more times at least. I can see myself playing this in between scenarios of a campaign.
This was a great stand alone story
