Fan efficiently moves a lot of air. Could have more speed settings at the low end. Fan is very quiet on lowest setting and still moves significant air volume, but fan gently wobbles. On second setting, air noise is still low but fan produces a noticeable hum - expected better from moderately pricy DC fan. Someone commented on ‘bearing noise’ on what I think is the equivalent pedestal fan - maybe we’re commenting on the same sound. Super powerful on higher settings. I don’t yet have a use for phone app, and one review of pedestal fan says both fan and phone need to be on 2.4 ghz network which doesn’t suit if true, so I haven’t tried app.

Fan moves lots of air. On the 2nd setting there is a ticking noise which gets too annoying. All of a sudden this fan has been turning on and off by itself, onto the highest settings and then putting itself on spin. I turn it off and it's turns back off. Great fan but wouldn't recommend for the price.

Easy to use, quite and great air circulation.
Bought this fan in the last couple of days. Hadn't used grid connect ever and got LED globes with grid connect too. But the fan, it moves a heap of air, pretty quiet on the first few settings and not as loud as expected with 18 fan blades running at 9500rpm. Some people have complained about a bearing like noise. Can't speak for there's but mine runs smooth and no vibration. Grid connect makes it so easy, no need to go over to the fan and adjust, or get out of bed.
Really good, quiet and effective possibly the best fan I have bought to date. The remote control via a smart phone is amazing with even a setting that mimics nature with simulated gusts.
