Had I been smart enough to realise that evaporative coolers only work in dry conditions, I wouldn't have made this purchase. Living in Brisbane during summer means humidity. Even with cold water and ice blocks in an enclosed space, this tower cooler dropped the temperature by 1°C for about three minutes. When the room temp is 34°C, it's really not worth it. A portable air conditioner is over twice the price, but it's worth the extra expense.
Took it back the day after purchasing. If you want a small slim fan yes but if your looking for something to cool down a room don’t bother.Temperature in the room didn’t get below 24• while running this overnight and it was a cooler 17• outside!
I love this so much, I also purchased one for my Mum for Christmas, and have recommended it to many other people. I especially like the ice bricks that you can add to the water reserve, as on hot days this cools the room even quicker.
Using it for last 10 days..very happy...works very well..satisfied with the product...
This product is excellent if you are short on space. It dosent take up a lot of room but cools a large area
This product looks good it has great features and is quiet. However, the fan feature is not strong enough to make a huge impact on a hot day.
