It's an OK bag. Thanks Woolies/Bunch for my sample, this is a product that I never would normally purchase. We have cut down a lot on our rubbish by composting, which I'm loving. And since doing this have seen the amount in our bin go down by half, so am really happy with that. I wish these were bio-degradable, have looked on your site and saw no mention of this. But then if they were you would have had it on the label. I know Woolies have done a lot to reduce the waste going into landfill, but the rubbish bags sold in-store also need to be bio-degradable as well. The bags cost $2. 00 for 25, have a bit of a nice smell to them. And seem to be sturdy, I used one to transport some of my grandsons clothes back to his house before the lock down. Good Value and Useful. These large bags were easy to find in store, all the Armada garbage and kitchen tidy range are conveniently located in the one place and at my Woolworths, that’s in the very last aisle. I had no trouble picking them out from the range because of the lavender colour, which also indicates the fragrance. I thought the scent was a novel idea, it was nice and not too overpowering, but disappointingly it didn’t last very long when the bag was is actually in use. I like the compactness of the packaging, as it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my pantry. The pack contains 25 Large Kitchen Tidy Bags that will fit a 34 litre bin and they’re economically priced at only $2, which equates to only eight cents a bag. The bags aren’t manufactured in Australia, they come from Vietnam. They’re made from a non-biodegradable plastic but at least the outer clear plastic wrap can be returned to Woolworths for recycling and the sleeve can be placed in your home’s recycle bin. The bags are a little on the thin side, so probably not suitable for really heavy or sharp items. They tear away cleanly from the roll for use. The handles also make for easy removal from the bin and for tying off. My kitchen bin actually takes the extra large size Armada bags, so I put these large bags to use in other ways. They came in handy for collecting the leaf litter in a garden clean up. I used a couple as garment bags to store winter coats. Another was used to keep the dust out of a printer while in storage. There are endless uses for these tidy bags besides household rubbish, here are just a few. - Waterproof the inside of a backpack. - Store clothes and sheets or Christmas, Easter and Birthday decorations. - Handy to keep in the car for wet shoes, towels, togs or use as a makeshift raincoat by putting a slit at the top for your head to go through. - Use to store dirty clothes in your suitcase when travelling. Thanks Woolies for these large tidy bags but handy as they are, I’ll have to stick with the extra large variety just because they fit my bin perfectly.

Scented bin bags. I really like these scented bin bags. They are the perfect size for my bin and they smell great. Sold at a good price too. Fairly strong and sturdy, provided you are not putting sharp objects in your bin. It's a repeat purchase for me with this item.

Nice and fragrant when opening the bin. We usually purchase the lemon scented ones (yellow) but hey I’m feeling adventurous and went for the purple ones . Fits the bin perfectly and nice and robust when emptying…. Let me tell you these kids will try and put more and more into a full bin so these bags definitely do not burst open when full. Not over scented but you do occasionally get a nice whiff when opening the bin. Will keep purchasing.

Unscented bags. Nothing wrong with these bags. They are quite strong and I had no problem with the handles like some others reported in their reviews. But my pack of bags had no scent whatsoever. Supposedly lavender. The packaging was intact, so the smell should not have escaped. After reading a few other reviews that commented on the overpowering scent, I thought maybe i have lost my sense of smell. But no, I tested my sense of smell on a few other items and my nose works just fine. Very strange. These bags are large size which is way too big for my little bin, so I will not buy them regularly. but I will use the sample for random chuckouts over the next few years.

Good quality but they stink. These bags seem as strong as any other brand, have good handles and unlike other brands, the handles are not fused together which is very frustrating. They are a generous size too and don't tear out. I dropped two stars off my rating due to the fact that they stink. When you open the plastic wrapper its sickening. Once the roll has aired out it did diminish to a certain extent but when you open a bag, the reek is overpowering. I chose the lavender as my Mum has the lemon and I know how bad they smell. As someone with asthma and chemical sensitivities, I find it disappointing that the bags are soaked in, well, I can't call it perfume but that they are scented. Please make plain bags, there are lots of us in the world who can't stand to ...Ā MoreGood quality but they stink. Environmental problem! But smell great. They smell great, But! In light of the ban on plastic shopping bags (and shoppers now having to pay for them, which IMHO is a flat out rort!) I find that my bin now consists of just plastic waste from all the other products I buy, as I am a recycler and have a compost bin, and recycling bin, so there is nothing much else that I throw into my general waste bin. All plastic should be biodegradable, even if it is classified as reusable. Bring bag the paper shopping bags, like we had back in the day. They can be recycled in so many ways, book covers, craft projects, garden bed weed protection lining, etc. Plus they can be recycled in the recycling bin for recycled paper products.

Hate having to buy rubbish bags to add to plastic problem. These are ok but I really hate having to buy plastic rubbish bags to add to an already huge plastic problem we have. I used to use the old shopping bags to try and ā€œrecycleā€ them with my rubbish. Now I have to BUY shopping bags which are 10 times thicker and probably worse for the environment and also have to BUY rubbish bags to top it off!!! They definitely don’t smell like lavender. More like public toilet lemon. They are not labeled degradable so I wonder how much they will break down. I normally buy the Multix Greener bags as they are labeled degradable which makes me feel slightly better about adding more plastic into the environment. I wouldn’t buy these.

Very flimsy. We have always bought the ā€˜home brand’ bin liners from Woolworths. Purple being my favourite colour and lavender being my favourite scent! Never had an issue with them (strong & sturdy) until the name changed to ā€˜Armada’!āœ–ļøThin and flimsy āœ–ļøMade in Vietnam When taking off the roll and trying to open, tares or splits, so another bin liner required! Not sure where the other Woolworths bin liners were made before the name change but I will now be looking for a new brand that is fit for purpose. Yes they have the 100% satisfaction guarantee but I really can’t be bothered to return them. Will not purchase anymore! Sorry Bunch and Woolworths xx
