Armaf’s Club De Nuit Intense, is known as a poor man’s Adventus Creed. At $25 to $35 a bottle, compared to $300 and up, there are some similarities. Yet can I tell the difference? 100% yes. I’ve had experience with both, and can happily say, either will get you noticed plus compliments. That’s wonderful, but these are two totally different fragrances. Also it projects a couple feet, lasts 8 to 10 hours, and it is very sexy. Yet what makes me drop it a star is the opening is hideous. Give it a half hour or more after applying, to let this dry down. It smells like a citrusy bathroom cleaner at first, and I was taken aback several times by this ability. Just horrible. On a positive note once it starts to dry down, this one is an absolute bargain. I wear it fairly often, due to its scent and complexity. Also it’s length of service is special. Let’s first take a look at the bottle. The stupid fake chain with the Armaf circle will break off. Also the fake diamonds on this black square shape are laughable. It is one of the worst looking bottles in my collection. A modern art disaster. Yet the atomizer is surprisingly good. You’ll be able to with three easy sprays, to go the distance with this. That alone is quite.an accomplishment in this or any price range. Made in France, this one has some complex notes. These would include lemon, pineapple, apple, bergamot, rose, birch, jasmine, musk, patchouli, and depending on weather vanilla. This is a stack of good notes, and sure it’s a bit synthetic. Yet looking at the price, I’m amazed by how this switches around the notes. They put thought into this, and a lot of times after the monstrous opening, it becomes a lot like mixing Montblanc Explorer Legend with Versace Pour Homme. This masculine scent definitely is solid, but to compare it to high end stuff is a reach that’s not appropriate. People will smell you and like it for the most part. Summer days off or a date are where I recommend this. For the office it’s probably too loud, and in the cold, this is where it’s projection is severely hampered. Versatility is important to me, and this is hindered in that regard. It gets a recommendation, but not a screaming with enthusiasm one. This citrusy bubble gum scent is fun, and there’s no doubt about that. Yet just remember to rate it according to itself, not niche houses that are far superior.

I really like this product. The price, the scent, the longevity, the quality! It's all there!Scent 4.5/5 - A lot of reviews say "90/95% Creed but not quite there" but you know what? Your nose doesn't smell in percentages! Anybody who knows the scent of Aventus will think it's Aventus. Even those who wear it. I'm not the BIGGEST fan of the spicy notes of Aventus but I still enjoy it and it's definitely a crowd favorite. The only bad thing I can say about this product is the initial sprays are a bit harsh and have an alcohol scent. Other than that, it lasts a 12 hour day easily and you can smell it on your clothes the next day.Quality 5/5 - Between the scent and the longevity it's a homerun. Not only that but even the box it comes it is highly detailed to give it luxurious feel. The cologne is actually from France! Like every quality cologne is. You have nothing to worry about!

The vetiver pairs well with the dry down into deep cedarwood and sage to make a palatable masculine fragrance with a balance of softness and rawness.The dark Ralphs club bottle design is great, featuring monochromatic detailing and sturdy hardware.Reminiscent of Carolina Herrera CH Men Priv cologne. The glass portion is tinted but transparent enough where the remaining fluid level is visible, unlike past Ralph Lauren bottle designs. The carbon fiber packaging is a nice detail but doesnt add much. I think silver accents combined with the Ralphs Club branding, wouldve complimented this fragrance aesthetic much more appropriately. But I do like the carton and I havent tossed it tossed it yet. The flask inspired bottle would be a great classic added to any groomers fragrance collection. But this isnt a unique fragrance.TLDR A great commercial scent that is going to sell like many notable scents engineered in the past. Ralphs Club is the newest fragrance that fits right along with the Polo Red and Versace Eros family. All three are great fragrances that share distinct qualities which has made them favorites worldwide.

Speaking from my own experience, this perfume is great. It's cheap and smells amazing. I get compliments every now and then, not a lot tbh. The thing is that in my country, only close friends or a girlfriend will tell if you smell good, but I've noticed people staring at me, which basically means that they enjoy, or maybe don’t, the scent. Don't believe the hype.

It smells exactly like mosquito/bug spray, but with an undertone of lemon-scented disinfectant. This was a completely blind buy on my part, as I had bought into the hype of so many online reviews. I can't understand how anyone would find this scent appealing in any way, especially enough so much so that they would want to put it on their body every day. For those that don't know, a fragrance sillage is the scent trail that wisps in the air as you walk past someone. Supposedly the sillage of this fragrance is where most of this product shines, and smells pleasant. But if it smells awful for the person wearing it, and anyone around you, and it only smells good to others as you walk by them, then this is not a very good product at all.At its very best, it faintly smells like a spa, like the water you would drink with various fruits in them. But that is only when you can't smell it very well. The closer you get to it, the more it just smells like lemon bug spray. It does not smell masculine at all, it could very well be unisex. I do not recommend this fragrance at all, if you're looking for a new scent, you should just go to a fragrance dealer and try them out before committing to anything. I have not tried Creed Aventus, so perhaps that is still worth it to buy as that supposedly does not have any harsh citrus/bug spray smells on it. But even then, try a sample of it first before committing.Oh, and I am also not someone who is sensitive to scents usually, but this fragrance gave me a bad headache. It could be because I'm smelling it often to see if the scent has changed as it's dried (which it hasn't at all), but it's generally pretty harsh as well.

Good but couldn’t reach Aventus

I bought club de nuit and club de nuit limited. There was no difference between both as some have suggested. The scent and longetivity is great. But still can’t touch Aventus.I have a small sample vial of Creed Aventus. After going back and forth between this and Aventus, I can now tell the difference. Club de Nuit has an overpowering lemon scent to it. Both, intense and limited have an overpowering lemon scent that dominates throughout. But Aventus has all the scents balanced and is more clean and crisp. So, that does it for me. Even though I like this, I still couldn’t find an exact clone of Aventus. I am usually aventus fan (original).I decided to try both Club de nuit (cologne and parfum).It smells like 80% like aventus, but definetly can not replace it.First test : i sprayed in the evening on the collars of the shirt, one side parfume, the other side cologne. After 24 hours the perfume very very low smell. Cologne side zero.If you had aventus you would know that the clothes even after washing smells like aventus, and not the base smell, the last smell. Even after you have the clothes in the cupboard nicely folded and you wear them after 1 month, you would still feel the fragrance. It is unique.The CDN smell like aventus, but the projection is not the same. Smell doesn't last? Please read this

I've noticed an increasingly number of people complain about how a scent doesn't last as long as it used too. This is due to a phenomenon called Olfactory Fatigue. The longer you smell something, the more your brain tries to ignore it. Just like how someone's house can smell of pet odor (urine, etc) but they don't smell it, or especially body odor. Since cologne is a strong smell, your sense of smell will learn to ignore it quickly. The cologne isn't weaker, you're just not as sensitive to it. If you ask someone who doesn't see you very often (girlfriends and wives can also experience olfactory fatigue), like a coworker to smell you, I guarantee they will smell your cologne. I personally enjoy Club de Nuit Intense, Creed's Viking, Creed's Virgin Island water, Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, and Amouage's Interlude Man. I rotate through all of these during a work week. Some are ridiculously potent so only 1 squirt is more than enough (Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille and Amouage's Interlude Man are ridiculously potent - I wish I could do just a half squirt).

Smells great

I love the fresh smell, i had a compliment not more than 15 minutes after i put it on! Went to the local fast food place and the young cashier girl said Wow you smell good! That should tell you enough. For the price you can't go wrong and it smells amazing. It's got a citrus yet woody smell, nothing sweet. It's definitely a masculine scent. Just received it and put it on but one compliment is worth the $32. I had my sister-in-law who helped me so it would be easier to get women to participate in this test.We decided on 15 if we could get that many and surprising we didn't have any trouble finding them. Of the 15 we specifically asked them if it smelled like a bug spray. Not one said yes, 11 out of the 15 loved it and said it was a sexy scent for a man to wear. Now these women were probably between the ages of 20-40 we didn't ask. 2 said they didn't like it at least for their significant other to wear. To me that says enough to try this scent, you may or may not like it but 11 women who say it smells good is certainly a buy for me again!Thanks to Stephanie who helped me with this little experiment ( she likes it also)
