Armani Code Eau De Toilette Spray by Giorgio Armani - 30 ml

I love the spiciness this one has off the top and enjoy the look of the bottle in my collection. The drydown is a well balanced fragrance. Slightly sweet, slightly fresh, slightly powdery, coming together to craft to a well refined scent. This can be found for a good price nowadays as well. Performance is somewhat light but I don’t think thats a bad thing. Sometimes its nice to have a lighter wearing fragrance on hand. I still get at least 6-7 hours on my skin, though you may want to test in a department store as I have heard this is not the case for everyone. If you like the scent but want a stronger performer, armani code eau de parfum is very similar but stronger and has a bit more vanilla in the backbone.

Classic light barbershop mens fragrance

I received a small carded 1.2ml sample of this for free, for review. Let me start by saying that I have bought a few of the Armani Code flankers in the past and some are very good, but this one in comparison just didn't hit the mark.It's a clean and very light classic barbershop type scent and it's pleasant and fresh but its simplicity and low performance doesn't do it justice against the other Code flankers to my nose. The projection is very low on my skin and the sillage is virtually non existent but perhaps would be better with much heavier sprays from a full sized bottle.It's a serviceable "dumb-reach" scent that if you just want to smell clean and inoffensive would do that job very well but it also smells so similar to a hundred other designer fragrances ... MoreI received a small carded 1.2ml sample of this for free, for review. If you don't own any other department store clean-fresh men's fragrances then this is a safe blind buy or gift but if you have any others with this scent profile (which is most designer-department-store mens fragrances) then it is likely redundant.In summary: it's fine but from the Armani Code line I did expect a little more. However if you are giving it as a gift and don't know the specific tastes of the person you're purchasing for, it's so inoffensive that you can feel safe buying it and knowing it will be used.If you or any intended recipient is into fragrance at all though I would skip this one in favor of several other Code flankers or other more complex or better performing fragrances in this genre.

I got a little spooked after I ordered. I read many reviews about Classiic Parfums stating fake items were received. I thought great, I should have dug deeper. I tried to cancel the order, but the order processing was so fast and ahead of the projected delivery date, but neither I nor Walmart could cancel. Walmart said just call us to return. Turns out I did not have to..., I hatched a plan....I ordered the exact same item from fragrance. net ( just a little more expensive, not much) to compare the wrapping, box, embossed letters, symbols, batch numbers, QR codes, print font, to the Walmart, Classic Parfums.They both arrived on the same day, so I sat down with a magnifying glass and my nose to A/B the two. Armani is (and will always be.), one of My favourite houses for fragrances. I have tried 3 different "Armani - Codes"; "Original", "Colonia", & now the "Parfum" flanker. I have owned ("Armani - Code", & then "Colonia", EDP & EDT.) which I found in subsequent years, numerous times. "Colonia" I've found works brilliantly, (for Me) within the Summer, ("I thought; That's ideal for Me because My Birthday is 06th. July"). I've gotten a "Unisex", vibe from "Armani - Codes" for along time, so for Mothering - Sunday, this year, I bought her The "Parfum" also My Mum told Me that she' d never owned nor tried "Armani - Code" but she's owned "Si: Passione", (EDP.), which I bought Her for Her Birthday? I have owned from his Emporio - Line; "Diamonds" & "Rocks", coincidentally, "Diamonds" is another of a few selected fragrances, I bought her for Mothering - Sunday; ("My thoughts on that one were similar with the Armani - Code, neither of which My Mum has owned nor tried but instead of Me getting to try it as well, the Men 's version of "Diamonds" is one of My very favourites, & later discovered, when I showed My Aunt, The 4 different housed fragrances, I bought My Mum, (Her Sister.), the Female version of "Diamonds" is one of My Aunt' s very favourites! All of the Aftershaves / Perfumes above, turned out to be absolute Favourites, for Me, My Mum, & My Aunt; not just on Oneselves, but on One another.

Good smell but baby powder dominates

I have been using LaCoste Eau De Lacoste Blanc for about 3 years as my everyday cologne. It is usually hard for me to find a cologne to use everyday and not cause me to hate the cologne after wearing it for a day. The LaCoste was the last cologne I found that did not bother me. The Giorgio Armani Code smelled really good; but by the end of the day I grew tired of the smell. It was the slight baby powder scent that I couldn't stand by the end of the day. Armani Code EDT features top notes of green mandarin orange, heart notes of Provencal lavender, and base notes of cedarwood. Armani Code eau de toilette is a softer, brighter version of the Amani Code Parfum (ACP) that released in 2022. I really loved ACP and the EDT comes off as a lighter version of that release. My first impression was that is (EDT) was good, but if you smelled ACP first you would not walk away impressed.After a few more applications past my first impression, I came to like the EDT a lot more. My first impression was really clouded by my experience with ACP (which is phenomenal by the way), and the removal of the iris note was jarring and disappointing. Armani Code EDT is a light professional office worthy fragrance that gives you better than expected duration for an eau de toilette.

Armani Code is a nice, fresh, and somewhat powdery fragrance. It's perfectly safe for office wear, casual situations, or nights out - one of those jack-of-all- trades types of scents that's pleasant and inoffensive. That said, it felt rather boring and uninspired. I struggled to find anything that sets it apart from the countless other generic mass-appealing men's fragrances out there. However, I do realize I'm a bit of an aficionado so for the average guy, this may be great. For me, though, its just ok. Aside from the scent, though, there was one other issue: the longevity. This fragrance did not seem to last long on me. Granted, it is an eau de toilette so I didn't expect beastly performance but the few hours it did give me felt rather brief. This original version is now considered a discontinued classic. I'm glad I have this one in my collection as it's being reformulated. Giorgio Armani has pretty much discontinued the entire original Code line. Last year they released the Parfum edition in a whole new bottle design, and now they are releasing the new EDT in the new bottle look. With this one, the lemon and star anise makes a great combination in the opening. The star anise is the prominent note in the opening. As it starts to dry down the olive blossom takes over along with the leather note. In the full dry-down, the tonka and tobacco become noticeable with the tobacco being the prominent note. Wonderful fragrance with excellent duration.

As a teenager, I can confirm that this Fragrance is one of the best. It has a sweet yet masculine scent and it lasts very long. Throughout an entire school day, the scent remains aromatic. Even if physical activity/ PE takes place on the day of usage. To prevent odour from occurring, I would recommend to use one squirt on each side of the neck, one at the back of the neck and one on the chest. If you don't have an issue about the actual last as in how long the bottle stays filled until empty then I would recommend to use the fragrance on the wrists as well.
