Paints go on smooth and behave as advertised; it's not a bad idea to add airbrush medium but honestly, if you keep your airbrush nice and clean you should have no issues at all! I'm really excited about the triad system they've implemented here; it should help with color schemes and blending immensely. Great for base coating a ton of minis in a production line to get them battle-ready quickly.

I just started down the airbrush road recently, armed with my Badger and a cheap H Frieght air setup. So far all of the Army Painter air colors I tried are spray ready, though I still thin all my air paints a tad extra regardless of brand.

Every color you would need. AP paints are comparable to other leading brands. Air brushing takes the hobby to the next level and can speed up some of the initial steps of painting miniatures.
Great paints. They work through a .3 mm airbrush with no thinning and layer beautifully. Had to add a drop or two of thinner for my .2 mm but still layered the same. Would buy again. The Tainted Gold is my new favorite Colour.
Every bottle has a mixing ball already in it, and you can just shake and squirt directly into your airbrush and are good to go. The colour triad system works as well as advertised - base, middle, and highlights all premixed for loads of colours. High recommend.
FAST shipping, received in just three days. Folks this set is MASSIVE. Sixty bottles, including 9 metallics, a fluorescent (!!!!) and a matte and satin varnish. Probably weighs ten pounds!
Excited to get this set in and it didn't disappoint! I love that they came preloaded with the mixing balls. I always hook my paints up to a paint shaker before using them and these turned out great. I did add 1-2 drops of Flow as I always do to my paints and it worked very well. No clogs and the spray was very even. Rich pigment and dried well. Would recommend!
If you just bought an airbrush and need to get paints, look no further. This set has all you need to jump into the shallow end, and start doggy-paddling around, or just go balls-to-the-wall and butterfly into the deep end. A great variety at a great price.
The complete set for any airbrush painter, all these paints are thinned perfectly for the airbrush! I've read and seen they can be used with brushes as well but I personally haven't tried this! Definitely a must have for the airbrush from the army painter!
