Tim Tam biscuits! The package says there is no substitute and well I am going to agree. I have many packaged cookies and this is one I always crave! Why? Chocolate biscuit, chocolate filling, topped off with another chocolate biscuit and then dipped in chocolate. Yum! The biscuits are crunchy. The chocolate on top of chocolate is a perfect snack with tea or coffee or even just on its own for an afternoon snack. And this is not too sweet. A dear friend in Australia sent this to me. If you can find it, try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Tim Tam is a brand of chocolate biscuit introduced by the Australian biscuit company Arnott's in 1964. They are made of two layers of crispy chocolate biscuit, separated by a flavoured cream filling and coated in a layer of textured chocolate. Tim Tam Gelato Messina Choc Mint Biscuits was one of the best limited editions for the brand to date. I bought this for hubby. Hubby became addicted to these biscuits while travelling in Australia 5 year ago. It’s intense and decadent. It has a mint créme centre perfectly flanked two heavenly smooth chocolate biscuits and wearing a dark chocolate coated. It was also best with coffee and hot tea. The biscuits did not last long in my house I’m sure.

I really enjoy these cookies! My uncle who lives in Australia told me about them and I had to have them. I first found them at the World Market, but then found out that Target carried them and was super happy. They have the perfect chocolate taste and a great crunch. Love the way they melt in your mouth. Definitely would recommend these to anyone who loves chocolate.
These are fantastic, featuring a complex hint of different flavors that all meld beautifully together. I would describe them as tasting very chocolatey, with subtle hints of malted milk balls and caramel/honey. For being a mass-produced product, they taste luxurious and are rich; one cookie is quite satisfying. The textures are also great; a generous outer coating of chocolate over two crunchy/crumbly cookies with a mousse like layer. In a sense, they seem to veer from being a cookie a bit toward being a fancy pastry.They are also delicious at all temperatures, chilled, room temperature, or even warmed.I would say that, especially since Milanos have been dumbed down so drastically over time, these constitute the best cookies available.
These cookies were served on United Airlines on a trip from Australia. They were so delicious, I ordered when returning home. I would buy over and over but the are quite expensive. I love the taste and the texture of the cookie. My absolute favorite.
I have been waiting awhile to try these Australian biscuits. I think the wait was well worth it. The biscuits are very rich in chocolate flavor and melt nicely in your mouth. I can see them paring well with coffee as they do in Australia. Unfortunately i do not drink coffee. They are are also the perfect accompaniment for milk. Get yourself more than one pack as you only get 11 in a pack. For me personally they are far better than a oreo. I cant wait for them to hit the local store shelves so I don't have to order them. The price is very reasonable. Just get yourself some and try for yourself what you've been missing.
Not sure what the lower star reviews are talking about in regards to the retailer as my orders came expediently with just the free shipping option. As for the product itself? Tim Tams are absolutely delicious, easily blowing away local desert snacks. It's a crying shame they don't make them locally, thus requiring having to pay extra for importing them. Still, if you have the money to spend on snacks, the taste of a Tim Tam is well worth it.
I was introduced to these cookies by a friend from Australia. Ever since then I have really enjoyed them. My friend also told me about the “Tim tam slam“ a procedure for eating the cookie by which do you bite a corner off of each end of the cookie and then use the cookie as a straw to draw up your favorite warm beverage such as coffee. By doing this the entire cookie begins to melt from the warm fluid which prompts the next step of sucking the entire cookie into your mouth and chewing it while enjoying the blend of flavors of melting chocolate and coffee. It’s absolutely delicious!!! They come in many varieties but my favorite is the mint dark chocolate.
