i read several forums that the differentials are the weakest part of the drivetrain. i wish that new [improved" V2 differentials would be made with different colored materials AND that their Outdrives were upgraded to metal for longevity & to help to instantly inform us which diff is which [V1 vs V2]

Cool little ride. Apparently it's been out a while and I've never seen it. Only disappointment was that I saw a newer, brushless (faster) version the day after I placed my order. Still ridiculously fast and really durable.

It's slow.... but def fast enough to have fun and very smooth.... already have brushless set ups I'm looking at... but no complaints for what it is

Absolutely love the Grom family. The Typhon is a blast but not quite built to bash hard. More of a racebuggies. Brushed motor works really well so not too much of a need for brushless.
This buggy is a lot of fun, handles well, and thus far has been very durable. It's a great small area basher or small track racer. While also being good for beginners. I definitely recommend one for the collection.
Metal differentials should have already been installed, not an added expense.
Very surprised with the speed for the size of it very impressive
Typhon arrived quickly and well packaged. It included a lipo battery and all that was included in the box. It was tested at the park and ran well. Wheels aleet when rocks get stuck so tweezers are needed but all and all well made. A++
lots of fun, seems pretty durable, been using it for a couple weeks. looks good too in the red.
It is not well made. Reasons why :- Quality- Parts lightweight, low quality - Plastic - Same as Generic RC ( Rlaaro )- Price- Double the price as comparable RC's available- Broken servo are common complaints- Suggestions: Traxxas 1/16Line- SAme $ you get: Better Quality, Durability, Warranty
