Working on wood cat stairs project and was attaching carpet to the steps and found I could not use my cordless stapler for fitting in the tight places. I bought the T50X and used 3/8" (506 series) staples for the project. The T50X fit in the tight spots between the steps allowing me to attach the carpet. The trigger action was easy on the hand and I could use it at any angle without stressing out by hand. The staple gun easily had enough force to drive the staple all the way through the carpet and into the pine wood up to the head of the staple. The staple viewing window on the side allows me to see the amount of staples that are left before refilling.

I have stools and chairs to reupholster and wanted a gun that could do the job but was easier to use. After reading up on it, I went with the Tacmate T50X and have zero regrets! I just completed reupholstering the 2 stools with thick, outdoor fabric. It was a breeze! This fires easily even while I was tugging and pleating the thick-ish fabric! Easy to load (instructions are right on the side of the staplegun) and much easier to squeeze than my old metal handled classic staplegun. Every staple (except a couple I positioned in the wrong spot) went in flat and aligned where I wanted them. I am so happy, and stressing less about having to do the 5 chairs because this staplegun makes the work easier on my hand and arm! Hint: I found that also purchasing the Arrow staple ... I bought this electric staple gun in the hopes that it would help me with reupholstering my dining room chairs. I was using a regular staple gun and was taking forever, not to mention my hand was VERY sore, to the point that I only finished part of one chair! I am 69 years old and a widow. My husband was the one that always tackled our household general repairs and projects, so I've been forced to taking on these projects myself.I have a total of 8 huge dining room chairs and with the Arrow Electric Stapler I was able to finish my project in less than three hours! I'm looking forward to using this stapler to the many other projects I have been wanting to do.

The Powershot T50HS worked as well as I expected. It was light yet durable and easy to grip and use. It worked perfect for installing paper backed insulation batts into 2X6's with 1/4" and 3/8" staples. All staples were set correctly.I did have some issues with 1/2" not being completely seat down near some knots, but over all the product seems to be as powerful as a manual hand operated staple gun if not a little more.I had no issues with the battery power and it seems to work as long as suggested before re-charging. The loader release button/clasp is a little awkward but I got used to it quickly.
I have Arrow staple guns that have been passed down in my family for generations, literally. A few are from my great-grandparents. However, most of them are too hard to squeeze singlehanded. I usually need three hands when I have to staple welded wire to something. It's not always possible to have a second person to either hold or squeeze. I purchased this little T50X last week and it is so easy to use. I can staple with one hand and hold with the other rather than trying to staple while putting on a contortionist's show for my dogs and chickens. (They are never as appreciative as I think they should be.) I would definitely recommend the T50X for anyone with small hands.
I had just thrown away a newer Heavy Duty Arrow staple gun (the chrome version) which wasn't that heavily used, but it wouldn't work!!! I am female, and strong, but not so much in my hands. I bought this a couple of months ago, and just now had a project to re-cover the seat of a bench. This staple gun won't work! I tried both 1/4 and 3/8 staples. The fabric was not thick, and I mostly got no staples, and occasionally 2 or 3 staples at a time. I was using it on a hard surface, so it should have worked fine. Of course, it has been long enough that I no longer can find my receipt, so I'm out the money I spent, and now have to go find something else. So tired of products not working as they should!!!
Upon purchasing the T50X and a box of genuine T50 STAPLES #509 and returing home to work on a project requiring 14mm staples. I found that even though the stapler is a "T50" it does not support all the "T50" staples that are sold.So I am not stuck with a stapler that has become useless to me immediately and also a box of staples that I will need to purchase another stapler that will actually use them.Arrow was a previous automatic choice, but now I will consider other brands that will accommodate 14mm staples sold by arrow.I always considered "T50" to be a standard for other brands to compete with, but sadly you have weakened it by tacking on a letter to the "T50" as to offer goods that are truly not to the "T50" standard of previous years.

I recently purchased a TacMate Heavy Duty Staple Gun - T50X to do some repairs on a craft project. I selected this product for its size and usefulness. Although it was purchased for a craft project, I also had other things in mind when using the staple gun. The staple gun was easy to use and did not require a lot of force when trying to staple. I feel this is important especially for those that may not be able to push down on such a thing as the staple gun. I also liked how effortless it was to reload the gun.
