Trying to give my husband more healthy options since he tends to have more allergies, and this was great. I made berry pancakes for him and used the egg replacement from iherb as well for him and he ate them up and I froze the leftover so he had them another day as well for an easy breakfast or snack. There are recipes on the back which are easy to adjust to your liking or preference. And I was so glad the package has a zip lock on it, just have to be careful no flour gets in the seams of the lock. I liked the flavor of the mix compared to others I've used. Definitely going to have to buy another pack again.

I love the mix, but the package could use some improvement. The one I was using before ordering another had developed a leak at the bottom of the package. When my new order arrived I noticed a bit of white flour like substance next to the box that was sitting on my sidewalk that contained the ordered product. Sure enough when I opened the box and checked the package of mix, it was indeed leaking. Not a huge problem, a little tape did the trick. But Arrowhead if you are listening, improve the package.

High quality gluten-free flour. Makes great pancakes and crumpets without egg to bind. Chewy texture. Have made crepes too, vegan with just water to mix. Blend 6oz water with 4oz flour, (standard cup measurements) plus about about 2 tsps of olive oil. The flour is fragrant as it is. Spread butter, tahini, nut butter, honey or whatever preferred on the crepe and then roll up.

We first tried this pancake mix back in July 2017 while visiting relatives in NJ. We made pancakes for breakfast one morning, and the entire crew loved them. We had pancakes the next morning. After returning home to South Florida, we have not been able to find this brandname. I have visited a number of grocery stores in and around my zip code to no avail. Pancakes were light, fluffy and flavorful. Not chalky or dry like some other mixes we've tried in the last few months. What a breath of fresh air these Arrowhead mix pancakes were! Consider breaking into the market down here!
Making pancakes? Here's the trick with this flour: Use two eggs, organic whole milk (or organic lactose free milk) and 2 teaspoons of vanilla. If you want gluten free/organic pancakes, these are great done right!!!
The pancakes taste very bitter because there is no sugar in the ingredients. Itās okay if you pour 1/2 a bottle of syrup to get rid of the taste. Unfortunately my toddler doesnāt like syrup so he eats it plain with fruits but he refused to eat them because they tasted āyuckyā. I made a 2nd batch with1 cup water ( because I ran out of milk lol)Olive oil instead canola ( I had no canola at home)2 tea spoons vanilla extract1/4 sugar syrup ( I buy mine in a bottle at my local cafe but you can always make it at home)After the 2nd batch they are great!

But it didnāt turn brown nonetheless.It tastes of rice and the cinnamon smells pretty good. Thereās no sugar in the mix like most of the pancake mix tho so i had to add quite a lot of syrup to make it less tasteless.
