I love this mixer. It’s sleek and aesthetically pleasing. It’s powerful and not noisy. Easy to clean and very durable! I use it a lot of baking and it’s a trooper.

Kitchenaid? More like it made my wife happier the honeymoon aid. Poor blokes around the world are living ignorance until the full raw power of this all-in-one device is unleashed on their kitchen bench. Can anyone fathom the true potential of this multifaceted tool? Of course not. But I would recommend it like I'd recommend a cure for cancer. Five stars.

First one had to go back as the mount for the bowl was not right so the bowl rattled. Good service from Dawsons though who initially referred me to the kitchen aid helpline then arranged prompt collection and delivery of replacement. The machine is greAt. I am a novice when it comes to baking so not sure how much weight my opinion holds. What I would say is think carefully about whether the 150 model is the right one for you. I later regretted not buying the 175. They are the same unit but the 175 comes with an additional 3 litre bowl (fits inside large bowl for storage, useful for recipes that have two separate mixtures to combine) amd the flex edge beater that does a grand job of mixing right to the edge of the bowl. I have purchased them subsequently and feel ... MoreFirst one had to go back as the mount for the bowl was not right so the bowl rattled. I bought this as my old Kitchenaid was wearing out and I wanted a larger capacity machine. It’s great from that angle but I find the mechanism for holding the bowl - the metal clip - difficult to use and the lack of a raising arm less flexible, and fixing the accessories in place, mixing blade and whisk etc quite tricky . It’s great for larger amounts of baking however, so I guess you can’t have it all ways
Can start off on a slow speed which is helpful. Good size bowl for making larger batches and also quieter. Would recommend as its good quality. I have a smaller kitchen aid and loved it but for what i make the slightly larger one is a good choice
Good Points: Perfect for making almost anything. Makes lovely fluffy cakes and yummy cookies. Beautiful coloured item on my kitchen surface. Was worried it would be too big for my flat, but I’m so glad I went for the standard size mixer.Improvement Points: The plastic lid that comes with the mixer to prevent splash’s of flour/icing sugar doesn’t really do it’s job. You still need to throw a tea towel over it. Other kitchen mixer brands offer a much better enclosed lid to prevent this from happening.
I got this in the Valentine’s Day sales.I struggled to pick between pistachio and dried rose but went with the perfect pink (dried rose) in the end.Love the matte finish.Made a double batch of muffins and a large cake for our family in one go, love the capacity.Feels sturdy and the motor strong to handle big batches and tough doughs.Would be great to have a rubber edged scraper mixer attachment, and options to buy extra bowls and accessories in this size.
Hi, the mixer arrived promptly and in good packaging. When I opened the box the mixer had a pool of clear oil sitting in the bottom of the bowl so I wiped it out and used the mixer a few days later.I may have over extended the capacity of the mixer and mixed a 2.400kg wholemeal bread dough weight because the engine got rather hot and started smoking out the top,I continued to mix all up for 8 minutes at a low speed.A few days later I made ‘golden syrup loaves’, which was easier on the mixer, I got 3 loaves at .830 grams filled with fruit and nuts, also made wholemeal bread again but only mixed a .800 gram dough weight at a time, which worked well. The only thing I noticed was a little black oil was discharging from the small pin under where you fix the ... MoreHi, the mixer arrived promptly and in good packaging. The only thing I noticed was a little black oil was discharging from the small pin under where you fix the beaters… but that is probably because of me straining the mixer in the first place.Anyway sorry about the small novel, but I really like this mixer it’s a great size for what I need and I like the bowl lift feature
I am really delighted with my mixer. I have used it several times and even bought some attachments for it. I bought the vegetable slicer and shredder. We have been experiencing some wonderful cakes, and grating cheese is now a breeze. I just wanted to say thank you I love it.
This unit is outstanding. We toyed with getting the lower capacity less costly model, but because the sale was on, we opted for the KSM60. It did not disappoint. The raise and lower bowl is a gamechanger and the extra capacity has come in handy already. Feels incredibly well built and the motor is powerful and will save us loads of time. Super happy with this purchase. Buy with confidence!!
