What you would expect based on the price point. Read reviews expecting it to be fairly easy to build but it took a really long time and was a little confusing trying to go by the manual and the labelling. To operate the gas lift after you've built it also requires some gusto and strength. If you dont have good lifting habits with your arm, I can see this hurting your back quite badly if you're not careful. It also was a little larger than i expected leaving you extra room along the parameters of the mattress. Overall, fine for the price point, practical and quality is ok.

Colour is very nice. There was one manufacturing defect in the hole where the screw goes to attach the bed foot. Looks like a nail gun nail is preventing the screw to go in so one of my bed feet is missing a screw. I hope it doesn’t affect the structural integrity. I also waited 3.5 weeks for the entire bed to arrive. It was broken into 3 packages of which 2 arrived and I had to wait another week before the third package arrived. It states 2 different delivery timings one on the my deal website and one on the hunter express website. Give yourself a month lead time because it was disappointing. Also check all parts are inside the package because mine were ripped open and I had to go looking in the box and recount that I had all the screws.

The Bed arrived within a week of purchase. The Bed was easy for my daughter to put together for her nan and was string and so attractive. Great storage for all nans treasures tgat she doesn't need on display, added all her winter clothes and blankets under the storage part. The strap makes it easy to life the base from the frame to access the stored stuff with ease. The Bed actually stays fully made with no issue. The base stays elevated while poking around and then easily glide down with little effort to close the bed back to made up.

Excellent solidly built and great value

This bed is excellent and highly recommend. The king size has two beams length ways which provide great support and stability for the mattress so no sagging, it took around 1.5 leisurely hours to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. The bed looks great and the storage underneath is huge, and a big bonus - the gas struts easily lift the heavy mattress. It’s about 1/5 the cost of buying a headboard and bed base but functions just as good - actually with the storage it’s even better!

Good value for money

Overall great value for money.The gas lift is good quality and works well.The metal base is quite sturdy and well designed as well.You can expect to spend a few hours assembling this on your own.The wooden fabric surrounds are made from light materials, so you wouldn't want to lean very heavily let alone stand on it as it is made just for show.The backboard though is more sturdy.Overall a great product for the money.

Great Family Bed

Easy to assemble for husband on his own and a little bit of my help.Instructions are ok to follow could be a bit more clearer but good enough.Doesnt have a chemical smell when you take it out of the box.Big and sturdy bed.I thought the backboard was going to be extra huge but it is decent enough and covers a big portion of the wall. Keeps the cold off your head. Lucky I got the tallest looking one. Fits perfectly and looks beautiful in our room. Gas lift is very strong and works great! We have 4 kids.. They've jumped on the bed and sofar it's doing great. Definitely happy it's not flimsy. Glad we got the gaslift and not side draws. Happy Days.

How to deal with the gas struts 😉

I bought this over a month ago. It was extremely easy to assemble and for the price, it’s a wonderful bed.The gas struts were a challenge and I had to go on YouTube to work them out as we couldn’t get them to close.The secret is, put the struts on as instructed, then put the mattress on and with two people, one each side at the point where the struts start, push down on the frame to close the bed. Do this a few times to loosen them up, then it will be easy just using the lift strap at the base of the bed frame as intended. I hope this helps you 🙏

Missing parts, who knows when I’ll get them

Came without 1/3 of the parts needed to assemble the bed. Myer haven’t offered me anything but kind words and assurance that they are waiting patiently to hear from the supplier. Have also asked me specifically what part numbers I am missing, however I do not know that as I don’t have them and the instructions seem to be in sections. Happy to change my review once I actually get the part and can use the bed but so far no one seems to be bothered I am sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Just take this into consideration before buying

Nice Quality Bed Frame

The product looks like what is pictured. The bed looks amazing once assembled. The price was great! There were 3 large boxes altogether, 2 came in one go and the last box arrived a few days after. It was surprisingly light enough for me to carry myself (I am a small person). Instructions to put the bed together were ok and it was simple enough to put together. It is helpful to have another person to assist to put it together of course.

Sturdy, Comfortable & Practical

We purchased this bed for our son, who was upgrading fro a King Single to a Double bed. Due to the room size and shape it made more sense to have a shorter, wider bed than a long and narrow one.The delivery was QUICK. We are in regional NSW and within 2 days it was on our door. It came in a few pieces. Everything was wrapped well and boxed. The bed was relatively easy to put together and it is nice and light. The fabric is fantastic quality and the light grey colour is a nice modern and fresh colour in a white bedroom.The gas lift strut is incredibly useful for storing those toys and items that don't get used every day, our 8 year old can open it safely, himself. I like this, it keeps the bed lighter and I also find it easier to get the vacuum head in there to clean.The only thing we noticed was difference to the advertisement is the bedhead seems to look very tall, but in person is about the same height as a standard pillow standing on it's side. This is not an issue for us as it makes the room feel bigger. But may be a deal breaker for someone looking for a more 'luxurious' feel.Overall we are impressed with this bed and for the price, it was a steal! There is absolutely no comparison, even some of the cheaper furniture stores charge twice the price for a gas lift style. We would consider purchasing again for other rooms in our house when the time comes.
