Artiss Rocking Armchair Feeding Chair Linen Fabric Retro Grey

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this chair. I got it for a great price on special and with free shipping. I was looking for a rocking chair that would covert to an arm chair and one that had a straight back as I find this more comfortable for feeding.The baby hasn't arrived yet so I'm not sure how comfortable I will be feeding in it but sitting in it with my toddler right now is great.Would recommend if the fancy feeding chairs are a little out of budget!

They acknowledged the conflict, apologised and informed me that any seller that has a COM policy must comply with it. I was ultimately informed that the matter could not proceed any further. I will be lodging a complaint with the ACCC.The photo of this item is deceptive - it should depict that it has an antique goldish colour to it or at least show the product in broad daylight.Prime Cart clearly does not honour its COM policy, nor comprehend it. The option of electing 'not suitable for personal preference' is completely within their illogical and irrational discretion. I am confident that even with any amendment to their policy, they still will not honour or understand the basis of their policy.Unfortunately, given My Deal could not escalate this any further, I would also warn against this site. Other smaller businesses and even Amazon, are more than happy to honour their policies. In fact, smaller businesses tend to bend the rules on their policy.This experience has been most unsatisfactory.Prime Cart and My Deal - please do not bother replying to this. Unless the policy is honoured, their is no basis to tell me how unfortunate my experience was.

Assemble issues

The chair is nice, comfy and looks great. However when assembling this chair the holes to screw in the screws do not match up. Every one of them i had to screw in at an angle and one did not go in at all. Take a bit more time with building this chair and it would be a 10/10. The workman ship needs better quality

Decent rocking chair

The chair is comfy, however the colour in person is more green than charcoal as displayed online.The holes in the parts of the chair to assemble it do not line up correctly so it was quite difficult to put together. You can tell when you rock on it that it's not lined up well and the leg screws are at an angle. The rocking legs were the worst to put on, and they are quite low as well. Most other rocking chairs are not as tilted back as this one - although it's kind of visible in the photo's online, it's much much worse in person, which makes sitting on it a bit tricky as it's always in a leaning back position. It is so tilted that we thought we put the legs on the wrong way, however, they are on correctly, but it's very tilted. My husband has told me that the rocking legs will need to stay on; we may not be able to change to the standard legs as putting the rocking legs on was difficult and as they did not line up 100%, he had to do them up tighter to ensure they were on safely and doesn't think they'll be able to come off and swapped over, which is disappointing.I'm not 100% happy with this, but it works with the room it's in and was quite a decent price, if you don't look at it for too long you can't see the green colour, but its a darker colour chair and that's what I wanted. The time of shipping and delivery was impressive also as it arrived about 5-7 days after I made my purchase.

Great quality for the price

Great value for the price. Comfy. Not the greatest rocker, might be better suited for someone with longer legs. A little fidgity putting together but overall not too bad

Great rocking chair for nursery

Love this rocking chair! Was a little hard to start with but get used to it very quickly then is great. Easy to put together. Have already spent many hours rocking with my baby. Was great value & fast delivery. Comes in 2 boxes.

Looks nice, but not sure if it can be recommended

For a 300$ single piece of chair, expected a quality finish. 1. One of the rocking base looks great and made of single piece, while the other rocking base is bit asymmetric, made by joining several pieces of wood and also having some blemishes. Do they sell this piece separately so that I can buy them if needed. 2. There is a little protrusion on the left side of the arm piece even after fastening compared to the right. Just an observation.

Looks okay, but oh boy does it suck to assemble

The pieces don’t fit together properly, holes don’t line up for assembly and my very experienced woodworking and handy partner took 4 hours to put together, having to make his own alterations to ensure it was safe. Hardware is cheap and easy stripped, just using hand strength to install. All around pretty disappointing purchase. Would recommend a slightly more expensive version that is better quality and well made. Shipping wasn’t great either, not wrapped up, box torn and took 3 weeks to arrive with marks on upholstery from box being torn. Too much $ to send back to Myer as you cannot return bulky items to store- not worth the trouble.

Not a great rocker

This was a Xmas present for my wife. Putting it together was a project in itself - some of the holes were slightly out of kilter and we found it best to just get the screws in first and then tighten them all later.Having successfully completed the construction my wife has been slightly disappointed that the ‘amount of rocking’ available in the chair is a little less than what she expected.

Terrible Construction

Putting this together was like pulling teeth. Easily the worst experience of my life. None of the screws line up. One didn’t go in altogether. If I was a determined man, I would’ve sent them into the abyss with my drill, however I persevered and I hate myself more for doing so. Do yourself a favour and never buy this unless you’re getting it for a friend you don’t like.
