With the new mesh heads, they give you a remarkably close feel and rebound similar to an acoustic drumkit. The module features 240 different sounds, 10 preset drum kits, and 5 slots customized drumkits. You can create your own monster drum kit! In set up mode you can adjust the threshold, pad sensitivity, rim sensitivity, cross talk, and velocity curve. These parameters let you customize the feel to your playing style. The snare pad uses a TRS input to allow double triggering (snare and rimshot) The Crash 1, Crash 2 and Ride Cymbals have cymbal chokes (by grabbing the cymbal you can stop it ringing). The drumkit also offers recording and a coaching function to assist in learning and practice. The drumkit module allows media devices to be connected for using backing tracks and playing along to your favourite songs. The drums sounds on this kit are all centred. There's no ability to pan the sounds left or right. The module has a connection for a B cable. This connection allows the drum kit to be used as a MIDI device on a computer. Plug it in and your computer will install the necessary drivers. It will then be visible in your digital audio workstation software as a MIDI controller, allowing you to use an infinite number of drum sounds, and recording your MIDI drums directly into the software! Note: The B connection does not allow for audio interfacing with a computer.
