Fantastic cleanser, works very well on sensitive skin and great to remove makeup. Gentle on the skin, leaves me feeling refreshed and helps me to prevent any breakouts. I have been using this for years and I cannot live without it. The new size of this bottle also lasts really well. Love using ASAP products.
Absolutely love this cleanser. A little bit goes a long way. I imagine it will last me nearly 6 months. As the name of the product suggests, this is super gentle. Although my skin barrier’s pretty good at the moment, I still think this product would work well on a compromised skin barrier. It’s effective enough to still remove makeup. It has a citrus scent which is very fresh, but not over powering (I’m sensitive to perfumes/fragrance). I would absolutely repurchase. It’s more affordable by comparison to other cosmeceuticals brands where cleansers are $70+.
My skin tends to dry out easily, so I avoid foam cleansers. This gel cleanser is gentle, doesn’t cause breakouts, and effectively removes makeup. It’s a great option if you’re using retinol since it has no active ingredients. Highly recommend!
I have used this product a few times before over the past few years. It's lovely, gentle and smells fresh. You only need half a 5c piece each time. Was really happy to get such a size at a great price except annoyingly the pump was busted upon receipt so I have to open it manually each time which spills the product out when I put the pump back in unless I wait a couple of minutes and do it really slowly. The smell of the plastic bottle was also really really really strong when this arrived, so much so I considered throwing item away as it made my bathroom smell but I washed it with soap a few times and it's slightly dissipated. Seems I got a dud bottle with good product in it. Admittedly this has not happened to me before so hopefully a once off. I bought the ASAP Gentle Cleansing Gel after receiving a recommendation from my sister who is a beauty therapist. Having sensitive skin that is prone to redness (Roscaea) I was looking for something gentle, non aggravating that would make my skin feel amazing. This product did not disappoint and I absolutely love it! I bought the pump bottle and can I say a lot goes along way so don't be too trigger happy. I like that it is used with water and is an effective eye-make up remover. The gel provides good coverage and has a lovely light scent. My skin feels so soft, refreshed and clean afterwards and best of all it has helped settle the redness in my skin. I would highly recommend!
I liked cleansing with it, the fresh feel afterwards and you only need to use a little. However, this cleanser did not agree with my sensitive skin unfortunately. After a few days use, the skin on my cheeks started to sting when applying products and then became dry and red.
